  1. I'll be there to help out if any dramas. I'll have a small tool box. Or I'll just loosen parts on the competitors

  3. Very unscientific I know, but the Hondas sound agricultural compared to the rest of the field.
  4. Lol, no, someone who wanted to put on a "good show" for the cameras cause his ugly mug is gunna be on the telly ate up my new pair of slicks down to the belts! I'll have my grubby little hands on something...
  5. Trackday put on by RTDC at SMSP south circuit. Had unfinished business since I was unable to take my place at the 2014 SAU trackday. Had a little hiccup where some silicone intercooler pipe decided to burst due to heat and pressure, but fortunately some guys at the track helped me out with leads, and after a short drive, it was back in business without missing a session. Will make up some heat shielding to protect it for the future. Rear tyres turned out to be pretty diabolical, so I couldn't even get full boost into her. Definitely due a new old set of slicks. In comparison, on full power out of the hairpin on the Brabham circuit day I could get power down pretty easily. On low boost it just burst into wheelspin. Nevertheless, I got a PB (by 3.5 seconds no less!) of 1:04.1. Have no doubt on some fresher tyres that would drop into the threes.
  6. How low is the car? What susp you running?

  9. I'm not having any luck with these tech days/nights! Family birthday in qld I can't get out of unfortunately. Have had work done by award (as have many other club members) and always found it of the highest quality and completely transparent in their dealings.

  11. It all depends on what you want! Better off telling us what you enjoy, what you like in a night out, what kinda music your into. Otherwise we could send you anywhere....
  12. Easiest to try the rad cap first. Is it pushing out, but not drawing back? Is the radiator neck welded all the way round, or does it looked pressed in? I had an issue with my china radiator where I thought I'd lifted the head because I was alway pushing coolant. But what was happening was the coolant would push out under pressure, and the neck would allow air in to the rad on vacuum. Got a new neck welded properly on the rad and bingo, problem fixed.
  13. I thought they were pretty strong? I know the early models had the weaker syncros that were later rectified in 2004.5, but I thought the gears were pretty stout. Any examples?
  14. When your throttle is smaller than the outlet of the turbos comp cover?
  15. Neil, I use Michelin S8D slicks on my track 180sx. Much to the consistent whining of some skyline owners. I could straight out say, they aren't going to be any good for hill climb, as they try and kill me for a solid 1-2 laps before I have any confidence. I have found them pretty hard wearing however. They were used thoroughly before I got em, and I've done a couple of events now. You could look for a set of softs any brand, and even treat them with some rubber conditioner if that is a legal option in your regs.
  16. Buy a 1989 nothing model, by that logic. I am going to guess your after something more collectible and rare by the sound of this question. In which case the ADM poops all over the nismo
