  1. Yeah, daily drives would be awesome without traffic! Lol! We all know there are some crappy commutes in Sydney. Can I get a Amen!? M1/2/4/5 all horrible. Problem as I see it, you have an older car with some suspect reliability depending on whose flung spanners on it in the past. You have something you really can't leave at a train station cause you'll never know if it will be there when you get back, kids will open doors into it and scrape is bumpers in the shopping centres and make you cry. Having said that, look at a Series 2 C34 manual. The VCT is a positive compared to the 26, you have a much simpler turbo system, chuck a hypergear high flow on it and it'll make good power with the usual upgrades, but won't stand out and be a massive sleeper. Chop plenty of GTRs in that and it'd be a laugh.
  2. Either of them modified to run an 11 is going to be a major pain in the ass to drive daily IMO. Better off getting one for a weekend toy, and a shitter for the daily grind.
  3. Probably, my best 60ft was a 2.0 It's a bit of a pig to get off the line. This is on federal RSR 235/45/17 at 25psi. Doubt I'll take it again, I just don't want to smash the gearbox. Because Racecar! Actually, I was bedding brakes in down the slow down area
  4. So best ET was 12.1@120mph and top speed was 122mph.
  5. Took the nugget out to Sydney Dragway for the race for real Wednesday nights. Good time was had. Learnt I suck at doing skids. But I'm OK with that lol.
  6. Sorry to hear this mate, but some more details will greatly help your sale. Location, awd / rwd, manual/auto kms, any other issues, is it a runner or trailer job.
  7. Unfortunately the number plate surround says someone did. Unless it was Phil...
  8. So who bought a stock looking (cat back exhaust was only mod I could see) RS260 from Edward Lees....?
  9. Oh dear... I predict it will spend a lot of time broken in the pits. I'd hate to trouble shoot that engine bay.
  10. That's good. But what I really meant was there maybe pressure causing damage to the transfer case. I know there is some difference between the systems in the r32 and the 33/34 which means you can flick a switch in the 32, but in later models you can install a switch, but it causes damage to the transfer. I don't know enough about the clutch packs and pressure to tell you exactly the issue, but I know some cars are effected. Just want to make you aware of it.
  11. Some 80s turbo tech..? Twin TD06 or something like that
  12. At a guess, it drops rev because the starts sending torque to the front, and starts to create more grip. Now you have just made a rwd. Dunno if it's safe for the awd system or not. Just for any pnm35 owners looking, all you have to do to make yours rwd safely is remove the fuse in the drivers kick panel.
  13. As far as I know, there is no traction, nor stability control on NM/PNM35s. You have the awd system, which actively shifts torque front and rear, but there is no individual wheel interaction besides the abs system. Pm35 models (rwd) have traction control only. So... What did you cut?
  14. Well it was the smartest move they made, cause the other boats didn't stand a chance! We should have entered a field of Micras, pulsars and the Leaf No complaints about the event here either, it was run fantastically, and even though I got the feeling that it was a bit like a duck on water (calm on the surface, crazy as shit under the surface), RTDC held it all together and made it happen. Don't confuse being challenged with having a whinge! Was it challengingly tight compared to the size of our texis? Yes. But who doesn't like a challenge in Motorsport!
  15. Lol, now it just looks like I'm a crazy guy talking to himself. Oh well, not far off the mark
  16. By the same account, 99% of cars on the roads come in RoRo, and they are all fine. Opportunity exists in either method for unscrupulous people to have their will with a car. Arseholes will arse, whatever the method.
  17. Well, that's all correct direction, and no cones down from what I can see. It appears, sir, you have been duped!
  18. The full spreadsheet might give you an insight if it was a wrong direction or cone penalties. I don't remember you smashing three or four cones, so, might have missed a loop. I did see lots of people doing the second loop incorrectly.
  19. Oh no, Eric!? You must have belted a heap of cones in the last last round!!?? Lol. You dropped like 10 places on that final round.
  20. Looks tops. Great colour choice.
  21. Very tasty. Is it destined to be filled with baby spew?! Congrats
  22. It means the bidding did not meet the reserve. Reserve being the minimum price that the owner would accept for the car.
  23. Was that the one with the super right cones up the top of the course? I foolishly threw away my maps.
  24. White wheels, Russian winter. Must be a pain to keep clean!
  25. And here is some in car footage of the day, showing the wheel work required for such tight courses! Sorry for my fat melon being all over the pics
