  1. should be alot clearer, as any mods on the motor will make the tune very different and someone elses tune can easily cause damage. if your just after a simple base map, take the stock 25 base map if injectors etc are the same, and add 35% to the ve table and it should get you close to a base map for e85, yet most basemaps on ecus are pretty shocking to begin with
  2. Easy the stock.ecu likes having the stock bov, a aftermarket bov on softer settings are more like the factory bov
  3. Depending on the coilpack the spring is the contact, on my r32 coils the spring was the contact on my ca coils the contact was a.Peice of crap at the end of the spring
  4. It's pretty close I'd say as based of hp = ftlb @ 5250 And at about that rpm he has around 280ish rwkw so 375 or so hp, and 375 ftlb is around 510nm and that's pretty much what he has there. So I'd say the torque figure is pretty much correct
  5. http://www.nengun.com/tomei/arms-b7660-turbine-kit-nissan-rb26dett again without seeing the tag we cant say that these are your turbos as alot of very different turbos look very similar
  6. Nissan fast is there parts program it allows you to look up your car and check part numbers. If you posted your vin I could check what part number is for the gtr and for your gtst
  7. Generally a mineral or synthetic based oil will work well, there might be a topic or 2.....million in the maintenance section, Actually just looked then, the very first sticky topic at the very top of the page in maintenance, normally im fine with people not searching hard, yet thats not even trying
  8. Well not the best fuel injection available, the best affordable availible as drilling the head, fitting some dfi injectors and a high pressure mechanical pump would be the best available
  9. ok, it looks like thats the sensor that sits on the ac evaporator, the ac evaporator sits next to the heater core, and i think it uses that sensor as the thermistor/thermostat to control when the ac cycles on, and if faulty would cause the ac to not run, if you checked pin 9 of the climate control unit and it doesnt goto earth when you turn the ac on, then thats going to be your problem.
  10. should be a touch lighter as its just the stock mcferson strut so no front double wishbone suspention setup, and yeah looking at a gtr style front bar. type x rear bar and sideskirts and fixing up the rear muffler is my plans for the next couple of months when i have time and money.
  11. lol then wonder what category what ive done with my car would fall into lol
  12. http://www.amazon.com/Designing-High-Performance-Injection-Systems-Publisher/dp/B004XINOJO we used this book in the course on dyno tuning i did, has alot of information that will give you a good understanding on tuning
  13. I can do r134a or hychil, yet I'm in south hurstville so not near the north shore.
  14. Pretty sure the condenser fan only comes on when engine temp gets to hot unless you put a diode to it from the ac relay, yet if your condenser doesn't have a fan blowing over it then your ac will be alot crapper than if it did. See the link above that was posted 20 seconds before me
  15. Pins 57 and 48 on the engine ecu should goto the pressure sensor. I'm guessing thats the issue yet it's only a guess, if they both have continuity to the sensor then I'd be checking that pin 9 on the dcc unit goes to earth when ac is turned on, and that pin 21 and 14 on the engine ecu both goto earth as well.pin 14 on the engine ecu should also goto the ac relay that your earthing out. That could also be over in the wires near the auto wiring. I'd be checking all the wiring that was left off from the manual conversion to see what has continuity to the ecu and to what pin
  16. Unfortunately I'm not ready to get another car lol, and I've gone to far with this one to just get something else.so won't be getting a gts4 any time soon. That ns meet is the only decent drive I've had this car on. Need to organise a decent cruise sometime soon. And yeah its a bit of an abomination yet atleast I'm keeping it nissan lol. Thanks for the positive comments.
  17. Having a quick look, maybee in the harness that's been disconnected is were the wiring for the pressure switch runs, yet having not looked over the ac on a 34 yet I can't really say
  18. Unsure about 34 yet on a 32 and 33 the fan is just an overheat fan and isn't on with ac unless you mod it. https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&ei=lt28VI-DGION8QXFrYHICw&url=http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Skyline/R34-Workshop-Manual-English.pdf Page 150 is a wiring diagram
  19. Nissan might have em genuine, yet I would probley get pirtek or enzed to make a new one
  20. When you say it works when you bridge the relay, how cold is it, as it might be low on gas and so by bridging the relay you bypass the pressure switch.
  21. Look up your vin and a gtr vin on fast and see if the parts cross over
  22. Stage 1 ecu???Guessing you liked Paul walker
  23. One other thing is what ever ecu you buy you will need to get it tuned. So that's going to be around 600 to 1k
