Here's a standard R34 GTR with a different kit on it. It's the history that is the real kicker. It was owned by the late Paul Walker. This is one of the three GTR's he owned. Rolled up to the shop this morning looking for paint touch up. Guy plans on putting it thru the Barret Jackson Auction coming up in Las Vegas, Nevada this year. Extremely clean with legit documents confirming vehicles history. attachicon.gifImageUploadedBySAU Community1395173477.529368.jpgattachicon.gifImageUploadedBySAU Community1395173494.211226.jpgattachicon.gifImageUploadedBySAU Community1395173505.311136.jpg

This reminded me of something that came up over facebook the other day.. If only it really was a GTR, perhaps I should sell it to the USA for a sweet profit!

I apparently snuck in with a bunch of GTRS (they have since put up more GTT's with GTR badges)

Good things take time my friend. I've had my n1 for 12 months and it is still not complied.

Mine is complied now Lucas

Your idea of having a separate pinned N1 subforum might not be a bad one.

There are at least 3 reasons why that I can think of.

Hi Terry,

Good to hear you have it complied.......... Will you bring it on Sunday?

I think there should be model sub-forums. Eg: R32 section, R33 section and R34 section etc,

Cheers... Bob.

I'll come across at least for the start Bob. I'm still suffering from bronchitis and something in last night's pizza set off an asthma attack. I haven't had asthma since 1981 and I moved out of Sydney to escape the smog that could precipitate it. I'd like to bring the BNR32 across yes.

Well done Terry...........

Your patience is a lot more controlled than mine.

I think I would have throttled someone by now.

Did you end up using any of my old bits and bobs?

I hope you can still bring it tomorrow.

I've just finished the interior and wheels on mine but need a break as it's too hot in the sun to wash the rest of the car.

I'll finish it off after 5:00pm.

C U tomorrow?

Bob.

I'm coming just to the assembly Bob at McGraths Hill.

Many thanks to you, I've used the F&R Suspension + the as new steering wheel.

I'm not sure if I'll bring the BNR32 because it needs lower profile tyres on it to eliminate a bit of scrubbing at the front.

And thank you too for the sticker which is a beauty.

I've pulled a Billy Joel Cassette - lol

Very 90's Jap glovebox gauge setup there, Terry. Will you leave it as is.. or yank it out & go original?

Hi Raj,

I like it as it is.

Bob supplied me with the boost controller too > fits into the pod.

Thanks for your thoughts - even if there are loving criticisms.

Opted for the Fujimura Splitter - Its decal spot is an exact fit with the N1 decal.

Very nice choice. An N1 with character :)

    • To back this up, I'm always looking on the outside, seeing the level, and then opening it up anyway, as I'm worried the level I've looked at, is more so a scunge line. Then you end up dipping your damn finger in it too depending on the type of tank you're looking at just to make sure I'm not going insane.   PS, Mark, polish up the none moroso one a bit and then give it a clear coat. The Moroso one looks to be way shiner (not mirror polished, just shinier) and it'll still look weird with the two different alloys beside each other. Either that, or Id probably paint them a flat black...
    • Good old Orange Park hey... 😛   f**k I miss that race track
    • lo, it was a death trap. Good times. Got any Fatz Drift Day DVDs still available?
    • Yes, overthinking. Many PS reserviors are completely opaque. Our Skyline ones, for example. Have to remove lid, peak inside, swirl the dipstick, try to remember how to read it, etc etc. Normal. Radiator overflows are often sufficiently opaque and scunged up that you can't see the true level inside anyway, and have to open and have a peak. Besides which, I replaced the (massively expensive, even back then) plastic overflow in my Alfa GTV, back in the '90s with a stainless one that I had a good fabricator make up to be dimensionally same-same, that looks remarkably similar to the Bogan's Moroso one above, and I never suffered any particular paranoia that I didn't know how much coolant was in it.
    • Looks great, but I'm always concerned that it makes it difficult to see what level the fluids are at. Am I overthinking this?
