at least you get it..

Dw sau Vic has always been like this. Us guys in the se suburbs have been making our own to make up for the lack of cruises EVEN when there where people that were officIally appointed roles in sau vics "executive" committee to create these small meets for everyone. What a surprise that they did Jack shit and did not organise anything. Of course myself and a few other sau members volenteered for these positions and because of how secluded the executive committee of sau is of course they wouldn't even consider anyone they don't personally like to actually do the job that they are meant to do. I'm already regretting renewing my membership.

yeh but like i said people might have mistaken me here i have said a few times im just speaking from a new members point of view not my own like you Kris i attend plenty of meets through other clubs and with my mates but guys just signing up dont have the chance to do it as its organized by pm, or sms or phone call word of mouth newbies dont have access to that stuff

If all you old members of the club wanna re-live those days and memories... Y don u get smethin up in couplea weeks n get started... U'z have to take an initiative... Oly den ppl are gonna hear abt it... oly den more ppl will want to join the club... Ppl r gonna love the club for the social activities... N believe me... It will grow in no time... In couplea weeks am plannin to join the club... So u already got a member... More social events... More members... Your happy and so are we... simple as dat...

N to the ppl who asked me to get smethin goin... I've jus join SAU lik yest... I knw not of a single person... I would lik to get to knw few ppl n get sme help... n den come up wid a plan... If sme one is gonna cme up wid smethin... I prolly had this in mind... "World Series Paintball"... its real fun... dne it a few tyms... well if nobody'z comin up wid smethin... ill try to bring smethin up...

so im confused, is there a cruise?

rofl..

@ alex (alr33x), whilst sau is a great technical site, im pretty sure they suck at regular cruises. agree 100% with you though.

@ james (muztek), where you playing poker last night? i swear i saw ben!

@ kez (kez33 - in a supra lol), you missed the point by almost 3 football fields lol.

brawl, i vote brawl..

i'll bring the poles.

No doubt there needs to be more but I'm just new here so just checking how things pan out. Coming from the evo oz forums, there were lots of meets/cruises and excellent social events going on. I guess every forum has their own infrastructure. But if something is put together I would be more then happy to attend coz I'm sure there's a few of us from northern/western side who are keen.

pissing down in mildura

and we have a wedding in the gardens in 3 hours

ass!!!!

I had one yesterday in Hawthorn and then the reception at Albert Park. To say things were wet was an understatement. Plenty of total write-off cars at Albert Park in the carpark underwater.

zzz spent a couple hours pulling apart all the trim around the cluster to pull out the aero spoiler up/down switch.

Decided to open the switch to replace the globe and was greeted with 10 springs and tiny ball bearings. Took me a couple hours to piece it all back together haha.

Fitted the switch back into the dash in the rain.

Only to realise i forgot to plug the wires into the switch fuuuuuuuuuuuu

gotta find his number, try PM'ing. He lives in lynbrook or someshit, off the south gippy, not far from us.

    • Dear folks My family members have 4 different cars : Triton 2015 and Corolla 2011 and Mazda3 2012 and Hyundai Elantra 2014 Looking to buy engine oil funnel spill free What I found are are below  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BBTTJNKX?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/145553221359?srsltid=AfmBOoqYBU6Ptw0LU_bAp_k67U3qkF97HHvePkA7iHZw8vUmiwoIRaRr https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09X23TCS5?th=1 Is there a funnel with attachment that fits most cars ? Don't mind to spend for a decent quality  Thx
    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
