arent 34 guards bigger then 33?
barely, but that is talking bout gtst vs gtt. r33 gtr guards are bigger than gtt and about on par with r34gtr

yeah gtt guards to 33 gtr guards we are talking bout

they'll look hot, but they won't be flush.

ah fuck it, you'll probably never lower your car to epic stance anyways, so nobody will notice that they're 7mm further in than they should be.

he better be giving away a free reacharound with em at $3700 tho. or at least offer to cup your balls for a solid 5 mins.

haha

that said 19x9.5" +11 > 18x10 +15

more clearance from struts, larger diameter.

If you're not gonna fit them spot on, then at least get the ones that are gonna look nicest. 19" GTC's look way nicer than 18" ones... dunno why, maybe cos they look nicer in larger diameter on 350Z's.

I just re-read your original post, they're both 9.5" wide so you should be fine cos its only the offset that's different. Thought you said 9 and 9.5 for some reason.

ah ok so those 19s from import monster will be completly 100% fine the +11 and +21? cool that means i get a choice ;)

i know that Matts will probably be in better nick thats the only issue but his are expensive

Funky, anything wrong with my fitment? ;)

This is the look ill try and achieve but this is how it looks when im entering my driveway on an angle. So the body has shifted over the wheel.

Should I downgrade to 8inch +30's or try to force fit my 9inch +30's with 255's lol

sick of auto.

if your sick of auto then maybe you should buy my car its not entirely auto, its tiptronic as well, with a shift kit. ;)

so buy it lol, i need it gone to make room for my new and better car.

I'd thought Fujitsubo would sound a lot more quiet..?

fujitsubo make about 4 different types of exhausts, only the Legalis (or Regalis in japlish) is quiet IMHO.

Ah yeah, true that and the quiet ones would be the Oval shape mufflers yeah...

I keep remembering Juliette's exhaust on her R34 GTT and it's pretty much silent.

    • I was 99% sure the standard one is long enough to get there, you might just have to change the throttle orientation. If not, I remember someone having used an r31 cable instead, but that is probably harder to find than r33 by now...
    • HELP   Hey all, Is there an accelerator cable from another Nissan that can be used on the R33 GTST RB25DET with a Greddy forward facing plenum?  Thanks in advance  Rob
    • Or do we think it was installed to give 1 bar of boost max, all day, everyday?
    • So could it be assumed it has been installed intentionally with potentially a power FC boost controller kit?
    • Had my rig on Matt's dyno at PITS the other day. After a few years between tunes I added a few sensors and swapped intercoolers. Result. 553hp at 26psi. Not bad for an FJ20 that was built in 2007. The problem.. It filled the overflow bottle on hard runs which leads me to believe the head gasket isn't sealing. I have a coolant pressure sensor which was reading cap pressure at 22psi and occasionally overrunning to 23/24 psi on deceleration after a pull. It was not spiking. It has arp2000 head studs and a cometic gasket. As its been 18 years in service, I pulled the engine out and head off. Everything looks good but we obviously have an issue. Where I'm at.. Years ago I had the same issue, I checked the stud tension and they were all over the place. Some at 60 to 70 and some up near 90. I nipped them all to 100ft lbs and this stopped the water push until now. I believe this compromised the gasket back then. What do I do? 2 options are..  1) I bought arp 625+s, which I could put in with a new gasket. Thinking Kameari this time, reassemble and try again. 2) strip the block, get fire rings machined in with copper gasket and try that. I do not want to push it more than 28 to 30psi. I think the turbo will be out by then anyway. (G30-770). My other concern is the long term ability of a copper head gasket. Are they streetable for years? I feel like a new gasket with the new studs will probably suffice, but I don't know. Any thoughts welcome and advice on copper gaskets and fire rings. Thanks!
