fatz at oktoberfest.............that will be special.

ill be in gemany in october hitting the cans next year

happy to back it into a wall for ya, some people say i f**k around..,. but i garrentee to do it propoerly!

What are you doing with the Plazaman plenum?

Would love to see if it makes a difference in low/mid response compared to my plenum, I dare say it will, but I'd love to know before I go changing the intake again...

No thanks...woudl rather continue to nurse my little bus along and maintain my record of not being a car breaker....just crasher

If you don't:

Throw a leg out of bed.

Spin a bearing.

Smash a Gearbox

Leave a diff on the ground

Or Eject the axles from a car,

You're just not trying hard enough!

Well, just need ome velcro for Blitz gear and centre console is finished. Next weekend will be making a better means of mounting the data logger on the column....never liked my old bracket.

I am waiting for my injectors and thephenolic gasket to arrive before I throw the Plazmaman on. I may be doing it next weekend whcih will save me a quid rather then the mechanic doing it

I think i bought it off ebay or online somewhere...cant remember. It has been laying around for along while until i got a harness to move the aircon controls

Wait, so where did the air con controls go?

Interesting... Very interesting...

I need to redo my centre console, and that looks f**kING ACE!

sorry to hijack Roy.

i can suply you with a pic of carbon sheet to do the job.

i made and installed a similar pice in bens gtst http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Be...html&st=380

So some more pics I took whilst working on the girl...So current work in progress

TE37s before stripping, 17 x 9.5" rears and 17 x 9" fronts. Were in white. I actually really liked them in white but loved my old satin black LMGT4s so...

Awaiting custome decal set

They were abolute pricks to rub back and prep, even after getting them acid dipped. Big thanks to Troy for doing a top job on the colour, satin black with grey pearl with matt clear...looks mega cool in person with the light on them. Shame once they are on the car brake dust will most likely hide their real colour

RB24 Gear

Well, been hoarding this gear for a while now, but have to either build the engine in the next few weeks, or sell it. Imminent work OS means tough decision needs to be made. Dotn want to really build a motor when the std one keeps on rocking....

And with the Tomei solid lifters and 260/10.25mm Procams I needed to upgrade the valve springs...so knowing nothing about engine building it was time for some more catalogue shopping...

And there is always those annoying jobs you wish you never started. After my fire at Winton all those years ago the wiring for my AiM data logger was damaged. It required a new MAP sensor, oil temp and pressure sensors and wiring....so rather then just simply install what was required i ripped it all out and decided second time round I could do a better job of wiring it in....and has since sat in its box with the new sensors and bits

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
