ARTZ, you make me sad.

i would've purchase your whole setup if only you put it up earlier. maybe convince handaldo to buy it all off you lol

hope it all goes well for you mate.

Hand... Aldo? Is that me?

I believe that joey was running 320rwkw with Nismo 550's on E85 with his 2835pros

Even if they don't cut it, run as much boost as you can to get to about 95% duty cycle

How is that good advice?

I still dont see how 550's could come close to flowing enough, even at stupid rail pressures. Like I mentioned Artz, chase up a Neo rail and get some ev14's shoehorned in there.

aahhhhhhhhh........ok f**k it.....

I'll finish what I started, on the cheap..then if I'm still sick of it, I will sell it...

sale on hold till further notice... :whistling:

one Q...will 550 nismos cut it...???

I know most are running the 740s but how much headroom is there??

why dont you just do what i did and pay $300 to get the stock side feeds hi-flowed?? mine are 90% @ 340kw...

Or maybe you should buy mine and i will get some ID1000cc with some valve springs then wind up the boost!

wrong person, i mean to say rondofj :P

tschh..Im still off the road for another 2+ months, well yesterday I fitted in my new JJR dump/front and new O2 sensor and cannot be happier with the instant response and pull factor..still some way to go..new injectors and afm..before I get the Kando or HG..ya ya I know my new dump will need to be modified if I go Kando..

yeah im keen n the ev14ks now actually, the smallest of them, need to find a neo rail on the cheap though to make it viable....

http://www.bosch-mot...alves/EV_14.pdf

why not just get these and plug connectors from bursons..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Siemens-Deka-60lb-EV1-SHORT-High-Imp-Fuel-Injectors-6-/390213457860?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5ada88d7c4

i remember reading on the xr6 turbo forums that the siemens injectors require some different tuning paramaters to most factory injectors. my memory says injector pulse width?? whatever it was, once the parameters are set correctly they idle very well.

ARTZ, finish what you started.

Once you sell and the new commitment comes along you wont be seeing any play money again for a while... 1K is a couple of weeks overtime, suck it up and keep at it!

hahaha....I know you could do it too..

yeah Scotty to the rescue...I went to hire a trailer mate, was 120$ + stuffin around, So i rang my towie, he will drop it and pick it up for 100$...legend!!!

those deka injectors are dirt cheap, can get a blank fuel rail for about 30-40$ yeah..wonder if we could make the stock reg fit..

I was talking to another bloke today reckons they are fine as long as you get a dampner in the fuel line..

    • Yeah, it's getting like that, my daughter is coming over on Thursday to help me remove the bonnet so I can install the Carbuilders underbonnet stuff,  I might get her to give me a hand and remove the hardtop, maybe, because on really hot days the detachable hardtop helps the aircon keep the interior cool, the heat just punches straight through to rag top I also don't have enough hair for the "wind in the hair" experience, so there is that....LOL
    • Could be falling edge/rising edge is set wrong. Are you getting sync errors?
    • On BMWs what I do because I'm more confident that I can't instantly crush the pinch welds and do thousands of USD in chassis damage is use a set of rubber jacking pads designed to protect the chassis/plastic adapter and raise a corner of the car, place the aforementioned 2x12 inch wooden planks under a tire, drop the car, then this normally gives me enough clearance to get to the front central jack point. If you don't need it to be a ramp it only needs to be 1-1.5 feet long. On my R33 I do not trust the pinch welds to tolerate any of this so I drive up on the ramps. Before then when I had to get a new floor jack that no longer cleared the front lip I removed it to get enough clearance to put the jack under it. Once you're on the ramps once you simply never let the car down to the ground. It lives on the ramps or on jack stands.
    • Nah. You need 2x taps for anything that you cannot pass the tap all the way through. And even then, there's a point in response to the above which I will come back to. The 2x taps are 1x tapered for starting, and 1x plug tap for working to the bottom of blind holes. That block's port is effectively a blind hole from the perspective of the tap. The tapered tap/tapered thread response. You don't ever leave a female hole tapered. They are supposed to be parallel, hence the wide section of a tapered tap being parallel, the existince of plug taps, etc. The male is tapered so that it will eventually get too fat for the female thread, and yes, there is some risk if the tapped length of the female hole doesn't offer enough threads, that it will not lock up very nicely. But you can always buzz off the extra length on the male thread, and the tape is very good at adding bulk to the joint.
    • Nice....looking forward to that update
