some S14s came without ABS, i THINK all series 1s didnt - may have been an option, series 2 (with updated front end) all did.

did europe get the S14? i thought only Japan, australia and the US did

Sounds like a good thing. Still RB25?

What kind of power are you looking for?

Yes all Rb25. Head was done a number of years ago, now the bottom end has caught up. Was still a cheap rebuild so I wont be looking for max power from the setup, not until I can afford a good oil/water pump setup, oil cooler, and rewire the loom to suit z32 nistune.

Used to make 249rwkw from the auto with the front shaft removed, anything around that mark would be fine tbh.

lol im pretty sure craig has more track experience than probably anyone on here........ id do the dyno video

Duncan has plenty of track experience too. He's an expert in breaking RB26 engines, if that counts for anything. :whistling:

Oh, I finally got my wheel alignment done.

minus britian , a few european countries didnt get skylines or stageas .. in norway and a few other countries anyway because of left hand drive. and what japan actually released as lhd cars. if they dont come as left hand drive and require conversions they cant rego them.

they got plenty of s13's , s14's and s15's though. but damn expensive. - which they only drive in the summer. then in the winter they drive audi and bmw beaters , the nissans are expensive in comparison.. and because they salt their roads when its snowing they rust to buggery.

Lowered the M35 a tad more this arvo, Im now happy with how it sits.

Anyone know of any rear adjustable camber arms or offset bushes if the stock adjustment can't do enough?

How much lower did you go? I'm going to adjust mine a bit tomorrow. Pics? :)

I went with 350mm front and rear. Ill try get a pic tomorrow for you.

Now I just need to fit the front upper control arm offset bushes and see how much adjustment is still in the rear camber arms, if not enough ill look for offset bushes or a complete adjustable arm. Everything I find so far is for G35 but the arms are different as ours have the shocker mounting to it, the G35 doesn't from what I can see.

Im putting adjustable rear toe arms on tomorrow if you want to check it out? No camber adjustment though.

Big thanks to Ian and Alex tonight for the help with the new front diff tonight....4wd with 3.538's rock in this thing.

Now just to sort out the miss fire.

This car just gets better and better!

you should be able to adjust it back to -2 degrees camber easily but if u want less than that u can get the bushes that'll take out an extra 1degree camber.

mines lowered 40mm alround and sitting at -2degress camber which im happy with but dont go any less than -1degree

    • Hi everyone, I've been wrestling with this for a while now and have been trying to find out the cause. For context, the turbos used are Garrett 2860 -5s, the BOV is a BNR32 HKS SSQV IV kit, the car is currently tuned to ~470 whp on 17.5 psi. The car drives normally, pulls well when it doesn't happen, and I can replicate it fairly easily. It does not sound like turbo shuffle or flutter. The engine has only a thousand or so miles and has had this behavior since it was completed. After my engine was built for my R32 GTR, I noticed that the car now sometimes makes an air discharge sound on what appears to be positive boost pressure that sounds really similar to a BOV. I had thought that it was a BOV issue but even when replacing it with a brand new unit, the sound persisted. It seems like it's coming from the passenger side but I may be mistaken. The closest scenario I could find was this post here https://www.gtr.co.uk/threads/maybe-a-boost-leak-opinions.147955/https://www.gtr.co.uk/threads/maybe-a-boost-leak-opinions.147955/ started by @yakshii and it sounds very similar. As in, at partial throttle once I reach positive boost I begin to hear the same psh psh psh psh psh sound like air is leaking somewhere when I keep the throttle in the same position. It most commonly happens in 4th gear at around 3-3.5k RPM and 5th gear around 2.5-3k RPM, which seems to coincide with normal positive boost thresholds. It might be similar to what @Austrian GTR mentioned about his own HKS SSQV. Notable difference would be that when he applies more throttle when it happens, it stops. In my scenario if I apply more throttle during this repeated psh psh psh sound, the cadence of the sound gets faster and louder rather than stopping. If I lift off slightly and apply throttle again, it will normally stop and pull without issue. I've checked all rubber couplers to ensure that they are tight, but have not gotten the opportunity to properly do a pressurized boost leak test. If anyone has had similar experiences or thoughts on what might be the cause, I'd be very keen to hear them. I also have a video of it happening from inside the cabin, if that would make it easier to understand: https://youtu.be/2zqZXcx8jbA
    • I'd want at least $40K for mine, but thats easy to say cos I'm not selling anyway.
    • That's incorrect. We have 4 seasons, consisting of pre winter, winter, post winter and a small glimpse of hope!
    • I spotted a black C34 in Mittagong this morning!
