Great to see you guys again Mat. ;)

What kind of speeds were you reaching down the straight? So Quick and standing right there at the wall as you flew by, it just Sounded insane. :woot:

GaaaAAAaaate!!!!

Your car has evolved so much in the last 2 years. Amazing. It's just a Weapon.

Hey mate, thanks to you and the guys for making the trip up! It was good to catch up with you all again...

Speed down the straight was lower then last time out as i could not get the car to pull up properly... Ill update the thread with the reasons why when i get a chance...

I havent checked the Haltech for the speed yet but when we had Matts timing gear in the car it was only around the 190-200 mark as i was not using 5th and was lifting off at the tower...

Will get the small issues sorted and get back and set a decent time soon!

So Track Day Club on Nov 1 was interesting for all the wrong reasons... Not an ideal day due to some silly things but will get to that... First off i thought i better sort out the front suspension and tyres to stop cooking the outer edges, purchased a set of Cusco camber arms from Jesse Streeter (Incredible service as always  ) and sent the car down to Road2Race for the alignment etc....

To our surprise and i will say i guess disappointment we could get no more the -3 degrees of camber from these arms... It was not a huge improvement on where i already was... It seems i will need the lower arms to match to be able to get the desired camber level... This will happen over summer as the car will be having a break (Read that as the wallet will be having a break lol)

Darren @ Tomago Automotive does our work cars and was kind enough to give me access to his workshop for the Friday morning so i could do the Engine oil change and also the diff oil change as it was getting quite noisey... While on the hoist i fixed up a power steer leak that had occured recently and gave it a general check over... All looked abused but in good shape ;)

Next up for the Friday was to go collect the tyre from Mayfield and get it fitted somewhere... Unfortunately by the time i managed to get the tyre it was only a couple of hours before i was due to leave for Goulburn and it was already 38 degrees so i thought i would get them to swap the tyre at the place i collected it from... This was a mistake! $50 later i had 2 tyres on the car and it loaded back on the trailer ready to go...

So at this stage i thought all was well and i was good to get on track...

We made the road trip to Goulburn easy enough... Traffic on Pennant Hills Rd was a bit ordinary but expected for a Friday arvo... So we stopped at the Workers Club for a feed, had a King T Rex for dinner... EPIC!!! :woot:

First session out was to get tyre pressures right and also check the new alignment... It was an untimed session so no stress...

IMG_0660_zps53b0975c.jpg

However in this session the car felt terrible... Was major understeer and could not get it to pull up under hard braking (More on this in a sec)...

I pulled into the pits and got the tyre pressure guage happening, we checked the pressures and all were too high, we set them to 32psi hot and left it at that... Waited for the next session...

    • Hey Kaz, Unfortunately I am not at home currently and wont be for a few more months so I do not have access to my files or CAD. And at this point I prefer to keep the files to myself as I want to potentially make a few more pairs and see if they will sell within the EU before openly marketing them. But the way it's shaped and how small it is, I don't think you can fit both an indicator and a fog light onto the same surround, unless they were very small LED-type clusters.
    • I’ve just installed a Uniclutch sport into my R32. I’ve been blown away by it… it drives like a stock Toyota Corolla. It doesn’t make sense to me that a performance clutch can drive this well. I was about to pull the trigger on a Nismo Coppermix twin plate when I discovered the Uniclutch and decided to give that a shot instead. They’ve changed the game and I couldn’t be happier.    I was previously using an Extreme cushioned button clutch with lightened flywheel. I’m still using the same lightened flywheel with the Uniclutch.
