I've got a bit of land we can bury the remains on if you need it!!!!

I sometimes reckon the cowboys got it right............hang 'em high. Scum like that are never ever any good, never work out and will always be creating misery, better to cull.

BTW kill switches are the best thing you can do, won't help if they have a flatbed, but stops all the lowlifes, they go looking for an easier mark.

We all feel for you and Blake (also SAU Member).

Blake's lovely white R33 GT-R got stolen too. This is getting out of hand.

He was house-sitting just for a week or two and it got stolen from there.

For those of you who recall, he looked after the compound where interstate Skylines were stored, whilst staying overnight before the R32 GT-R 21st Anniv.

Ironic isn't it; being in charge of security and all?

oh shit, did you have insurance?

sorry to hear man

Gonna get off my arse & put a kill switch on my car now

at my old place when I still had my R34 I had to park on the driveway so my daily ritual was clublock, set powerfc rev limit to 2000rpm, remove hand controller & keep in my house

Sorry to hear about your bad luck Dave.

I saw the car at Unigroup today and she looks to be on the mend.

On our track car we went for one of those D1 Steering wheel quick release kits (http://www.justjap.c...488&cat=&page=1) and a quick release lock hub (http://www.justjap.c...666&cat=&page=1). When my wife saw the car in the driveway the obvious comment was that it reminds you of Mr Bean with no steering wheel and only a locked hub in its place. Apart from making it easier to get in and out of the race seat it should act as another deterrant.

Dam, very unfortunate for both of you.

That car was mint, seen it when i was there for the cruise, (my car was at the compound).

they deserve to be put in a USSR Siberian Camp for 10 years so they can see how much of a big man'g they are, Australian jails seem to be a vacation for Theives and Criminals if they are willing to parade around Sydeny in a stolen car. You have given me an incentive to upgrade my security system, i think the 3 point immobiliser sounds good.

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
