Who here is making over 280kw on their 25.

What is involved? Can I retain my standard gtr cooler and run a forward facing plenum to make use of the hole under the battery?

280 is a walk in the park.. GT2835 pro s / 3071 and supporting mods

All custom number plates are a rip off when people try to make money off them. The single/double/triple digits are the only ones that ever catch my eye. My grandma had 365 (on her Civic lol) and that sold for ~100k - what an idiot. Fuck spending that on a piece of aluminium.

Lower the number is supposed to signify the richer you are apparently $220k bought number 40.

Mine cost $500 and it's my name so it's good for business so people know me in the area no chance I'd pay thousands

[HOMO] ??

Haha I kid I kid

Yeh it's set by ato I think. Just make sure you have receipts for rego/tyres/servicing etc so no backyarders basically.

Or just use credit card. :D

All car expenses to the one place, if you like to make it easy/simple.

Keep the reciepts in a box of course, but for tallying purposes, cannot go past a singular instance for ease of use.

Me. It looks completely stock to 99% of people, wouldn't have it any other way.

OTR just finished my turbo swap :D

Bill came to $450, which included replacing all exhaust manifold studs and calling out the stud doctor for broken ones. I would have spent 3-4 days on that shit, these guys are working for nothing.

Now to book a tuner!

Pussy. Did mine in a day. Never dropped so many 4-letter words though lol

ok cars booked at racepace for install: cam gears, injectors, nistune. also a dyno tune and oil, filter and plugs.

Looks like the old wallets going to cop a fair bashing

but everything should be sweeeet when it's done

PM me approximate cost if they gave you a ballpark?

Nah man, Chris recon'd like if it wasn't due for timing belt they can do it without removing it so yeah they will just do that.

Ok I see.

Yeah, go ahead with that and get done asap I'd say.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
