EAT!

places that you have to go to:

1) old airport rd Hawker centre (take the MRT to Dakota station and it's a 200m walk)

just look for the places with long lines and que up.

Every place i went to there (i at at probably 15 of the stalls) I just said "gimmie your best dish, i eat everything"

Chuan Kee Satay, Order their pork satay, to f**king die for, its a massive wait, but.. so worth it. They're closed on mondays, like most other good stalls.

2) Tiong Bahru Hawker Centre (take the MRT to Tiong Bahru station)

same deal as Old Airport Rd but close to chinatown. not as big, but most definately worth it -especially for the tiong bahru chicken rice

Tiong bahru hawker centre is now double storey, not sure if tiong bahru chicken rice is still there. But there are stalls of similar standard around.

3) Chin Chn Eating House (19 Purvis Street - less than a block away from Raffles)

you MUST have the chicken rice and the Tom Yum here. best I have ever had. Before I ate here i thought chicken rice was pretty ordinary, but chin chin will make you understand why its the national dish

never heard of chin chin LOL

4) Haji Lane and arab st

- great middle eastern food and shisha

5) fish head curry

eat this in one of the hawker centres- it's the other national dish.

There are two kinds in singapore, assam curry fish head, and regular curry fish head. Most places do it.

6) tiger beer

drink this, its sweet.

7) Orchard Rd

bring your wallet lol, just dont lose it, and we do have trannies, beware of those.

Ah, a fan of soy bean milk and dessert soy bean curd?

Where's your hotel gon be at?

apparently my ex said technically there are no such things as Singapore noodles in Singapore. Alvin may confirm?

She used to get pissed off when I would tease her about them and us having them here

there is.

its called, 新洲米粉 LOL

or direct translation? singapore style rice vermicelli.

So basically its thin rice vermicelli, stir fried with cabbage, barbequed pork, onions, random stuff, and curry powder. nothing spesh.

Beat the shit out of the useless knobs at Epping VW :)

Will do

You said you were tempted at $5500, the price is now $5200 without RWC! $5400 with.

If you're seriously interested, we may be able to work something even better than those prices out just for you Ric

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
