Can't be many of this type out there. Most them end up in trees, on fire, with the driving ejected from the car decapitated. Though you have to die somehow, why not in mental 930.

Just take the one she's wearing. Try and fit it to one of your fingers. Which ever one its closest too, there's your reference

I already mentioned she doesn't wear much jewelry. So only ear rings really

So the current "thing" is.

pick the diamond for the ring purchase it, and present that.

then she comes in to get the ring made.

that said ti was not what I did, I went with a el chepo ring for proposal, and explained she could pick out her perfect one afterwards...seems to have worked.

Yeah maybe this, just get diamond and then she can pick a band

do that with a burger ring :D

Haha I had a onion ring from Hungry Jacks that looked exactly like a ring

Get her sister/mum or something to find out

Also how could you do this to me? lol

mum in Shanghai, and only child policy

Because your never there for me anymore :'(

This is what I did... simple silver band from tiffany's for the proposal and then we picked one together.

sure beats her wearing the ring she didn't want and hating on you for the next half century!

Think this may be the way to go. That or I just get the diamond, and she gets what she is given :P

Download tiffany an co app has a ring sizer in it you just put it on the screen and slide the scale to the circles meet

Failing that ask her friend / family who will keep mouth shut

Yeah downloaded the ring sizer but it's only paper and wouldn't be perfect, and her friend's suggested resizing

fair enough, good luck with it :)

Also think about if you want to get the wedding ring made or if you want to buy a ring that comes in an engagement/wedding band set. With some engagement rings it's difficult to get the wedding band to sit under it properly, so the wedding band needs to made. If you're getting the engagement band made could be a good idea to get wedding band made at the same time.

haha thanks
Yeah well that's kind of why I prefer to get her to pick the band, cause they usually do a deal with the wedding band too, so that way everything matches

I will say Toby was right is searching the US for diamonds though, much much cheaper than Aus

Off topic, anyone know the best place to sell foreign cash for the best rates? I've got quite a bit and it's looking to change between a few hundred dollars between some of the places I've searched online

    • HELP   Hey all, Is there an accelerator cable from another Nissan that can be used on the R33 GTST RB25DET with a Greddy forward facing plenum?  Thanks in advance  Rob
    • Or do we think it was installed to give 1 bar of boost max, all day, everyday?
    • So could it be assumed it has been installed intentionally with potentially a power FC boost controller kit?
    • Had my rig on Matt's dyno at PITS the other day. After a few years between tunes I added a few sensors and swapped intercoolers. Result. 553hp at 26psi. Not bad for an FJ20 that was built in 2007. The problem.. It filled the overflow bottle on hard runs which leads me to believe the head gasket isn't sealing. I have a coolant pressure sensor which was reading cap pressure at 22psi and occasionally overrunning to 23/24 psi on deceleration after a pull. It was not spiking. It has arp2000 head studs and a cometic gasket. As its been 18 years in service, I pulled the engine out and head off. Everything looks good but we obviously have an issue. Where I'm at.. Years ago I had the same issue, I checked the stud tension and they were all over the place. Some at 60 to 70 and some up near 90. I nipped them all to 100ft lbs and this stopped the water push until now. I believe this compromised the gasket back then. What do I do? 2 options are..  1) I bought arp 625+s, which I could put in with a new gasket. Thinking Kameari this time, reassemble and try again. 2) strip the block, get fire rings machined in with copper gasket and try that. I do not want to push it more than 28 to 30psi. I think the turbo will be out by then anyway. (G30-770). My other concern is the long term ability of a copper head gasket. Are they streetable for years? I feel like a new gasket with the new studs will probably suffice, but I don't know. Any thoughts welcome and advice on copper gaskets and fire rings. Thanks!
    • I'm a fan of the JZX110, and the Aristo. Big cruiser cars, and with the factory cars, super comfortable and feel like you're driving an armchair! And the JZ motors are a pretty nice engine too, especially with some basic mods.   The import process, and the need to be able to trust people, and the fact there's so many scammers around is what ever puts me off wanting to go through that ordeal!
