Have put through quite a few orders with them, big ones and little ones. They're not the greatest with communication but they're definitely reliable. Haven't had any stuff ups and everything is always well packaged.

I've ordered through amayama as well, was killer pricing :)

Oil Seals for my diff... little rubber rings...

2 x $36 = $72 via Nissan Brighton

Amayama was $20 including well packaged shipping from Japan.

Only "issue" I've had is the wait time, you wouldn't order from them if you're car is sitting at your mechanic broken down and you're in a massive hurry.

Buying parts for upcoming projects though, there is nowhere better :)

Ummmm, I think this is me?

Considering I'm listing turbo, injectors, fmic, afm, pfc, fuel pump, stereo, wheels, front bar, etc etc... and he said that all my mods would be covered.

Yeah that would be.... Mine didn't drop more than like 100

What's the go with listing mods on insurance in the event of an accident if they are deemed to be illegal?

Or does it only matter if it is the 'cause' of the accident?

Is there any point listing them? I spose it would only be good where you are in an accident which is not a write off where they will need to replace all the bits.

Someone aware me

I used all the mods to increase agrees value by about 100%

Had to be sighted tho

Shannon's give no farks for legality

And my evo is $1000 haha I'm younger than you too and live in a worse suburb..

Wtfux. Always wondered how you have this mad low insurance amount lol (I thought it was closer to $1.5K though). I need to look into this for mah evo. Also will get CAMs closer to that and try for Shannons to get that sweet 10% off (which should already cover the CAMs for 1 yr at least?).

I was using an SAU VIC pen today... not impressed with the performance :P

Hey all!

PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT!

Between approx 11.30pm last night and 8am this morning my car has been stolen!

REGO: SWD218,

Alex's old car! most of you know it! White roof spoiler, GTR respoiler, black 400r front bar, Purple "it's gon scrape sticker" on re qtr window!

damn :(
hope it shows up with no damage man!

these people stealing cars really need to get tougher charges put on them.. seems it happens so much and they just get a slap on the wrist..

An extra $66 for a Skyline over a Pulsar is a bit steep, lolwut

lol mod list as long as your arm and im only 22 ;)

Leigh, tell them you have a CAMS licence and are a SAU member. Might make them consider you under 25. I supplied a certificate for an advanced drving course, performance driving course, cams licence and proof of club membership and were more than happy to insure me.

i say we get someones skyline - put it somewhere it will be targeted for theft, hide - then when they pounce - 300 SAU members charge at them from hiding places.

Can't do that because 270 of them will be nerdy blokes thinking a lanyard would hurt after being thrown.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
