big call

I know, but...things I learnt from that article:

- Hot hatches and utilities share the same target market

- GM managers are professional drivers

- 13 seconds variation across a 21km circuit is the difference between fast and leisurely

- Shooting for fastest ute around nurburgring (assuming it was the intention) and clocking slower times than non-utes means your plan backfired

- Hot hatches don't handle well and were designed for grocery shopping, not corners

I know what you mean Birds, but at least it's better than the usual drivel from cars guide. especially the 'ask smithy' smithy. "my car is 2yrs old and has problem X" smithy: "hmm we get a lot of letters from people with problem X. return to your dealer an see what they think"

didnt know Holden ute was on springs

I know, but...things I learnt from that article:

- Hot hatches and utilities share the same target market well you can put stuff in the back of both

- GM managers are professional drivers Holden do have certified Nurburgring testers who are apparently the only ones allowed to test cars there, (according the wheels magaine last month)

- 13 seconds variation across a 21km circuit is the difference between fast and leisurely tell that to the person who came 2nd

- Shooting for fastest ute around nurburgring (assuming it was the intention) and clocking slower times than non-utes means your plan backfired if this is your Renault then yes..

renault-sandero-stepway-pickup-projecao.

- Hot hatches don't handle well and were designed for grocery shopping, not corners obviously

yes I'm bored

3 things...

1.Joshua looks like a Renault Megane driving shirtlifter, which explains the retarded article..

2.Lets see the Renault do a burnout, tow a boat, sell affordable spare parts etc etc...

3.That ute is f**king ugly

...

so what got everyone else into the addiction?

I've got a bit of an obsessive personality. At first my interest was music, one band in particular. I spent every moment living and breathing them. Then it was computers, same deal. And then I bought my first car. This one hobby will stay with me for life though...

Changed to BCPR6ES-11.
First time giving it some it slightly misfired then stopped and now coming back.
Funny because when it happened, I gave it some again and it got better. By the 4-5th time going at it it pretty much stopped misfiring but just a quick little hicup at about 5k rpm.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
