She loves animals and cant stand the thought of slaughtering them. But misses meat sometimes (she wasn't always vego / some shellfish only)

She can eat prawns because she thinks that they are not sentient (I did a quick google, which disproved that theory, they do feel pain when killed) but I will never tell her of my findings, because I enjoy the Chilli Prawn pizza from Crust too much and don't want to lose that

Well just as long as she doesn't call herself vegetarian; I don't mind vegetarians, but I can't stand when vegetarians say I'm vegetarian, but I eat fish...like anyone in the world classifies fish to be a vegetable! She's sentientarian?

Had a pig on a spit on the weekend. That was fairly confronting seeing the whole animal completely intact. Made you respect where the meat was coming from, not just store/butcher bought. I think a lot of people would have struggled to carve and eat it straight from a pig. Good rite of passage for any meat eater methinks.
