Neck and neck with a 993 turbo, very slowly gaining on him

That was awesome, prolly would have got him good if I used 3rd instead of 4th

Old Jewish guy, just kept looking straight ahead, he didn't wanna look at me hahaha

As a rule of thumb, it is approximately 45 minutes before you begin sinking beers with us

Hope so, but knowing my luck it'll be around when it starts or after being Shanghai is 3 hours behind atm

Tony can speak Vu though

The rest of us will get shafted :P

But yeah plus 1 for mixed reviews have heard good and bad but I'll prolly end up chancing it when I respray mine because 20 year old car

Vu himself says he sprays accordingly with your budget - if you want a $7000 job it will look $7000, if you want a $3000 job he will do that too but don't expect it to look like a Continental GT

Fkin uncle

Did lol

if i wanted a 3 tonne land barge i probably would get a nissan patrol or something.

however if i wanted a sub-2 tonne land yacht (and i did) i got the gloria currently sitting in my driveway :D looking dirty like its on its way to Naru detention centre. straight off the boat.

took my friends 10mins to work out where the button for the fuel cap is. lolz.

Looking good man, not to long till it's rego'd and mods start :P

That changes very quickly...

Still remember first time I rode a bike on the road, sitting alongside a car was tripping me out. Didn't feel right being so naked and open going as fast as a car. Of course it might have helped if I was wearing clothes.

But soon speeds will feel slower on the bike than they do in cars, and then when you get a big bike you can blur time with a twist of the hand.

Booking in a track day at PI in December / early Jan.

Doing Broadford on the 14th, CSS at PI on the 15th...Might try get another PI track day in before thailand, then try get a few more in in Jan when I get back, before going back to work in Feb

That's a lot of bike riding Monica

Including Thailand

Yeh riding next to traffic freaked me out abit today. I havnt really gotten the hang of being able to see everything behind me yet..

Try tucking elbows in and point the mirrors more inward too...it's odd because the more you point mirrors in, the more you will see of yourself in them, but it still gives you a better angle to view what is directly behind you - sort of quality over quantity. You don't really need mirrors anyway, just headcheck everything, it's the safest way IMO. Rubberneckin' baby.

That's a lot of track riding. I want to do CSS but they are pretty booked out for now. Gonna just wing it at a track day and prolly break some lap records if they're lucky #46

Best way is just go fast enough you don't need to look behind

I don't think I've touched the road bike since I got the dirt bike #FIFO #needmalloo

Tyres down to the wires :( gonna need some new ones soon pretty sketchy in the wet today, think I'll just get some cheap shit

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
