Tell him to save his money and come to Winton instead... I'm bringing my TV so we can watch the F1 :| It's pretty much the same thing...

Also he can buy 3 x SAU VIC Motorsport Shirt and a few cans of Mother, instead of that other Energy Drink one...

Here's a thought about the Bali crew

The money and effort being spent on their repeal could have saved hundreds of actually innocent lives in an impoverished third world country...meanwhile the real atrocity and focus of bleeding hearts is that a couple of drug dealers who didn't give a shit who they indirectly killed might get killed themselves.

That's where the argument is flawed - if it's wrong it's wrong can't be wrong just cos they're aussie.

My honest opinion is I couldn't care less what happens but I do feel for the family & friends beyond that it's not a political issue they broke the law.

How would aus like it if an Indonesian broke our law and their president bang bang or whatever his name is starts telling our gov to pull its head in? No doubt we would take a similar stance perhaps minus the jets and warships like seriously guys they smuggled drugs they ain't Osama bin dr. Evil.

I don't see how looking after our own = flawed argument. it's only natural that we would care more about Australians than others.

If we were doing something that contravened the UDHR (like say, the treatment of assylum seekers) then I would expect others to get involved (which they are, and should have a long time ago)

Typical lefty, merely taking sides instead of arguing principles

You've just admitted that the lives of these shitbags are more important / worthy of our attention than others on death row. Don't try to backpedal on this

Your blanket opposition to the death penalty seems very weak now

Your Uncle Arthur used to have a saying, "Shoot 'em all and let God sort them out."

Unfortunately, one day he put his theory into practice. It took 75 Federal Marshals to bring him down. Now let's never speak of this again.

Looking after our own....

They're heroin smugglers... Not a one time thing for them either.. But they're Aussies so it's all good.

Not to mention they do finger paintings now, Saint Chan and Saint sukamarun

They've found God... They should be happy, they'll get to meet him soon

I bring sandwiches for lunch so I can direct my money elsewhere (usually into my outfit). Nothing wrong with that, will likely do the same thing at the GP tomorrow

Agree with work lunch but to save $5-10 for a one-off event in addition to the extra time spent of sourcing/packing/transporting food doesn't seem worth it to me. $

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
