SiR_RB
Before you pulled the engine out and welded the-10 fittings to the sump, did you find that the rear oil drain/vent you made from the cam cover to rear turbo drain help at all ? SiR_RB
So basically just acted as a vent to help oil drain quicker through the oil returns Any more updates on the gtr ? SimonR32
So basically just acted as a vent to help oil drain quicker through the oil returns Any more updates on the gtr ? Getting a Quaife ATB front diff installed and the rear is getting rebuilt to around 30% higher torque settings. That plus the brakes and I'll take it back out for some fun Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412073-r32-gtr-the-final-build/page/9/#findComment-7428051 Share on other sites

DCIEVE
Time to stick on a set of soft a050's and go for a sub 60sec. That'd put the wind up a few people! I think most the RWD quick Skylines are around the 66 mark but Denver is doing 63 (but that is a race car) If you can crack into the 65's or better your doing well Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412073-r32-gtr-the-final-build/page/9/#findComment-7429267 Share on other sites

I thought you were nearing a 65 in the t67 rb25 rwd monster GTR is miles quicker at the track and a fair whack quicker in a straight line, the old green thing was bargain performance where the GTR isn't Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412073-r32-gtr-the-final-build/page/9/#findComment-7443547 Share on other sites
SimonR32
Well GTR ownership is getting expensively depressing. Quaife ATB which has finally arrived this week and is being installed on the 6th of Jan. Rear diff has been rebuilt and tightened so it's gone from 19lb/ft of breakaway to 49lb/ft. Should be even better for 4wd sideways action once both diffs are back in. All shiny and tight! Dog also helped me out to check out condition of the motor Said it was all good! Spare boxes for days, I've actually got 2 more but I wasn't moving them just for a photo 4 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412073-r32-gtr-the-final-build/page/9/#findComment-7445894 Share on other sites

toppertee
Dog was about the only thing small enough to reach any parts in a GTR. SimonR32
Finally back and running, the alignment got a bit stuffed up and they put toe out on the rear instead of in which made it interesting with delaminating tyres on the rear 3 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412073-r32-gtr-the-final-build/page/9/#findComment-7491344 Share on other sites

SimonR32
Went to my first ever event in the WA Sprint Championship, was a bit tighter and different to what I'm used to but I did really well coming in 2nd out of 83 cars. Got pipped by around half a second by another 32R which is really set up well with a RB30, EFR8374 and some very nice suspension goodies. About 4 sec clear of the rest of the field made me fairly happy! 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412073-r32-gtr-the-final-build/page/9/#findComment-7493889 Share on other sites
