No will, the asphalt for the track will be millions of dollars by it self

Then there's buildings, services, driveways, leveling the land, amenities, permits, insurances and that's would only be the beginning of the expenses

ive been in contact with one of the Founders ( via her Motorcycle facebook page ) she said this..

" We are just working with the council on some minor ecological assessments that arose in the DA process.
The council amalgamation has been a spanner in the works and had delayed a number of actions as well. Everything is still progressing well, just taking longer than we hoped because of these two factors. "

It's still all good and going ahead, just typical council crap. The merging of 2 council areas hasn't helped the situation

niZmo man pretty much summed it up unfortunately...

" The money is not an issue. We continue to work closely with the council on ironing out the last of the DA hurdles, but I cant predict their timeframes "

I only live 10 minutes from where they want to build this, safe to say I cannot wait...

There is some locals that live along the road it will be near and they are trying their hardest to get it shut down but it's like 100 vs everyone in NSW. So not an issue

You really believe that? Sydney international airport has a curfew because a people's complaints, so stopping a race track because of complaints wont be to unrealistic

This.

However a plane impacts on are larger area, I'd like to think you could install dB meters on the perimeter and abide by whatever standard and be able to fight complaints (subjective) with factual data.

by people complaining i litually mean they are whinging to each other on facebook and thats about it.. no petitions no signs no nothing. They arnt exactly trying very hard. more like the ramblings of a small group of grumpy small town people

I know i said they are trying their hardest... but this is them trying their hardest. They are a very lazy small group of people who by the sounds of it have nothing else to complain about.

When ever someone says something against their opinion they come back with " why don't you put it in your backyard then" and so on.... they are posting on casar parks facebook page and complaining on the local facebook groups.

BUT no petition, no " casar park isn't welcome" signs or anything like that and pretty much every single other person wants it to be built because of the income it will bring to the area, business's will grow, property values will go up etc etc

Goulburns new motocross track got canned because it might upset some chickens on a chicken farm. That's right, chickens not people.

Dont think that just because its 10 people it wont get shit canned

Well the land they are putting it on is owned by 1 man who is also Aboriginal. He has given his written permission etc

Do you have a copy of his proposed contract? Why does him being aboriginal make a difference? Genuinely curious

Could be a case like magenta shores, where the land is leased.

Why does him being aboriginal make a difference? Genuinely curious

Only really makes a difference if the media/protesters can use it to their advantage, spin a tale of stolen land as they do. If he's on board than good on him! And yeah it makes no difference.

It was one of those " Claimed Aboriginal lands" and he happened to legally buy it after he claimed it.

Just made it easier to use the land I guess.

Basically it doesn't make a difference. There's a 20year lease with him and he wrote a massive letter supporting the project and sent it in to the council. Or something like that

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
