Try punting a 450kw street GTR around a track and let me know how that works out for you, I have that much power and have tried it, not a fun experience :/

did.

Was fine until spun bearings.

I was thinking to put 34 diffs into my 26/30 32 GTR to give the thing more legs and use the torque better. Just seem to row gears constantly on full noise.

I was thinking similar.

my thought is the 34 short ratio gears, which sit between the 32 and 34 ratios.

I believe around the 3.8:1 mark.

I saw Mick's post before and he dropped it down to 380kw to track it, I think that was right Mick ?

Understand , I know nothing, just thinking aloud :)

With say something like mine as a 3.2 , no huge Turbo, but with a more linear acceleration.

Do not understand why, with drive line modified, worked suspension, maybe a Quaife front diff or similar, modified trannie and a 2-way rear ,with good rubber, your right foot and gears to change why you could not use 450KW on a track ??

Geez, you're patient man.

If it were me, I'd chime in with a chainsaw to speed things up!

Patient, haha, NOT at all Grant, if it is much longer I will explode .

But there is nothing I can do about it, I just hope the job gets me what I am after and it sounds like it will be, even all of the little things are being looked after.

Got the bill yet

Has jez charged the 10 bux a silly question surcharge?

Should still only cost 30% of crd

If I got charged $10 for the silly question surcharge I would have to get a job to pay the bill :woot:

Thats the trouble when you are learning anything, silly questions, but my mate always said, there are only stupid answers and never be afraid to ask questions

all depends on how the turbos come into boost.

mocks would be very agrees ive for best response.

I had a big lazy single, so traction wasn't an issue for me.

But, going back to low mount twins, so will be interesting to see what happens.

But if you have the drive line mods to put down the power on the road, what about your right foot controlling what is going on with the power , use it where you can and back off when you have to ?

Trouble is I have not raced or pushed my car to the edge around a track or even on the road , so I can only have a guess and hope to get the answers so I can learn something and understand how it works a little better.

There are alot of different factors ie type of power, how hard you push the car, driveline, brakes, tyres etc

A street GTR would be a stock car with normal street rubber, unmodified driveline and laggy topend power that hits hard later in the revrange, which is ok if you wait till it is lined up on the straights before giving to the beans

haha, then mine is somewhere inbetween, just need to do the suspension (but I wont)

He did a run on the car this morning and it was 390kw on 21psi , full boost at 3950 rpm on 98 pump, still working on it , looking promising
