Enjoy washing your Tupperware containers, Indian

when you live bachelor life its good for 2 dinner before washing :P

guy i went to high school with not into cars liked a picture of a midnight purple 33GTR, obviously works with the owner (at Telstra). looked clean. upon closer inspection the guy put Nismo stickers on Rota's. instant loss of respect. if you cant afford LMGTs, just get something else.

also, Hamish... whats this about major banks halt any sorts of slightly risky work over December and January because all the managers (aka self-important mid-high mgmt) are all on holidays? people I know are doing some works for ANZ in tullamarine, its a big job, and they want everything finished by friday (they have no idea whats involved) because they have to shut the site down for 2 months due to bank policy of managers possibly going on holidays and its too risky?? if something goes wrong or blows-up, what is a manager going to do? not even the fire brigade can just walk-in and do something about the electrical side of stuff.

Toby yeah nah its all good.. i was just expecting around 75kg ish which is where I ended up usually in my gym days at a half decent body fat percentage.. now im fatter and weaker :( (i'm probably around your height? 5'10 i think i am)

I try to eat veggies when I can be stuffed cooking them, figure its a good way to get nutrients not because I want to loose weight, won't change my diet just need to actually go to gym again. Maybe increase dat protein intake again too, dat $$$ for meat doe

Leesh do you get cranky at Birds for buying expensive meats? :P

Haha same, I have to steam Birds' broccoli so much that there's no nutrients left in it before he eats it though.

you have him eating green though... this is progress

sounds like bullshit to me lol

my friend spoke to someone who works at NAB said they do the same thing... no major changes/risky work over xmas period

A consultant friend of mine said the same thing (for a different bank). The consultants sit on the bench until new year as no new projects kick off.

I wouldn't have a clue about physical building projects etc but we are still working 100% on everyrhing else

We have a large building shut down entirely for maintenance over xmas as that's when the least staff are on, but all remaining staff have been relocated to other sites for a few weeks.

I have Melbourne time on my watch, Perth time on my laptop & Brisbane time on my iPhone.

I've given up on the concept of time-keeping/zones.

My sleeping pattern and eating times are f**ked

smart watch synced to iphone that syncs to local time.

no fks given

eat breakfast when wake up, lunch when they stop at middle of day and dinner when finished for day

easy as.

    • I've looked up the parts number (41011AL501). It's around $700 OEM. Usually our Infiniti G35 here in Canada have interchangeable parts with my Stagea but the parts number are not the same. I have looked around and it seems the JDM 2005 V35 Skyline (which is the same as our G35) has the same caliper but I cannot confirm. And I can't find a repair kit. The inner brake pads drags on the rotor, seems to be rusty piston. Thanks for the info by the way
    • This coupled with 6-9 speed autos with ridiculously short gearing is why these modern shitbox cars always seem so fast off the line. If it wasn't for those things, Raptors would not seem fast. The problem we have is there is a driveability gap between a more gentle take off and a wheelspinning sideways launch. The difference between ankle flex required to achieve one and ankle flex required to achieve the other is about 0.5°.
    • Yeah I think I'm also with the opposite here. It's 'hard to keep up with traffic' because in the real world I'm accelerating with 15% throttle and they are pinning it. It feels like I'm being an overt dickhead at anything above 15% throttle, so the car sounds like I'm being an overt dickhead to keep up with/get ahead of traffic when I'm really just trying to drive with traffic. There would be no issue 'keeping up with traffic' if we used the same level of throttle input/aggression to drive around. People really do just drive around with their foot nearly pinned in econoboxes.
    • To be fair it's the other way around. 300kw is boring in a modern Golf or BMW. They are so competent / well-engineered / devoid of emotion that you have to go stupid fast to feel anything. Whereas the <300kw RB still makes all the right noises and it feels good to drive. Can pull off at the lights with the turbo whooshing and the blow-off pssshing and feel like the coolest kid on the block. Just don't look to the side where you'll see the bored housewifes in their shitbox Yaris/Corolla/Camry that kept up because you didn't go fast at all
    • 300kW is so boring in a Skyline, you'll get spanked by someone's mum's Golf with Alibaba pipes, and an email tune.
