Yeah? 100% you will be. I’ll be lucky before 2026. What’s your point Johnny? 🧐

Man you've lost your sense of humour, and I put 2033 for mine. If you do the maths 2033 is greater than 2026.

Davies Craig 12" overheat/condenser fan now installed on new fan bracket.

No nasty holes through the condenser like before 😁

Read it in a rush.

Does that mean we have 12 more years of listening to you “should of bought a BMW”? That’s gonna be painful.

Bloody oath there will be 😂

I am thinking of moving to a BMW X3 30i from our VW Tiguan 162TSI though, however the jump in price point is putting me off. Is it "that" much better?

Unlikely but your e-penis might be bigger?

Lolololol.. I just like the X3 over the Tiguan chassis because of the bootsize.

I didn't think we needed such a big boot till we had a kid!

Touareg would be amazing but that's a 100k+ car 😥

Get a Tiguan Allspace. It’s probably same length as X3 and as an added bonus it’s not a shitbox BMW….  We’ve got the Allspace and they feel quite a bit bigger in back seat and boot.  We don’t need it for the 7 seats, just those two areas being bigger.  New model out in Mid 2022.  The new R-Line look amazing!  #notbiased…..

Yeah I did think of that however the new facelift model they removed the boot proximity auto close, removed the rear tray tables, removed physicals buttons on the steering wheel and not to mention have done nothing in terms of power and the DSG box.

I really hate running a DSG box in a SUV, it's just not very nice to drive at times, even after I've coded out the pedal delay and have had the car flashed with an APR tune. Sure it runs 12.9s 1/4s 😂 but simple things like a hill start or reversing up a slope is horse shit. They need to just put in a ZF box and turn the motor around like a Q5.

If X3 is near new and under warranty, should be pretty good. Otherwise get something better, like Santa Fe :D

Mrs Dose Pipe said no Korean cars, as much as they are better built than VW shit boxes they still don't have that level of sound deadening and comfort. Like getting jumping from a Rav 4 to a Tiguan, sure they're the same price but man the Tiguan much more comfy.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
