  1. Hypergears highflow made up to 322 rwkw on a stock motor e85. 280ish on 98 from memory. If you want the most powerful highflow that's the way to go. $860 too
  2. At this stage it wouldn't cost you much more to use a 30 bottom end. At least they come with a crank
  3. if you want a sweet idle just pull timing at idle. dont use high duration cams. especially with -7s
  4. cams. stock should be good with -7s. with adjustable gears. Should be pretty nice to drive. What compression are you aiming for?
  5. would be awesome. Just a tad laggy but nice and free flowing at high RPM
  6. 450HP on petrol... hmm easily doable. Garrett GT30 territory. That would be super responsive. External wastegate would be nice too if you're ditching the twins
  7. And a fkn serious fuel pump
  8. Arp head studs can't hurt esp at that boost level 2.4bar damn
  9. I have a set in the garage and can't wait to use them. I'm so sick of shitty sidefeed fuel injectors that don't idle well and use heaps of fuel. They weren't even cheap!
  10. You're driving an auto? how do you plan to launch it? Rev up in N then hectic shift to D. That will give you more bangs than the BeeR ever could
  11. If it's got a serial output you can interpret that with a PC. 0-5v output is designed to go into an Ecu. I doubt the piggyback you've got supports an 0-5v input though
  12. looks okay I guess; hard to say. test fit the turbo to it and check the wastegate flap doesn't hit or get stuck. It's a common problem
  13. What's wrong with your crank? have it machined and get the machine shop to order the correct size bearings for you. good as new!
  14. Well, either will do. Both are a headache though. Have you considered using the factory plenum? It will be fine for a GT35 sized turbo setup. 270 degree cams are probably on the big side duration wise too. have you bought/installed the cams yet?
  15. sorry mate but those off the shelf jap exhausts are overpriced and often have step-downs at the mufflers. I just pulled a 4inch apexi stainless catback off a GTR that had 3 inch mufflers. What a waste of money; well the apexi sticker in the window is a bonus for some... edit: the 4inch apexi catback is for sale btw
  16. ask the forum member piggaz. he knows his cams
  17. What fuel? 600hp can be made with a smaller turbo on E85 than 98. maybe a GT35 sized turbo externally gated and boosted to hell on e85 2 speed auto and MTs would make an awesome drag R33 with 600hp. 10 second car?
  18. ex gate sounds good johnny!
  19. especially because the RB30 is basically a longer stroked RB25, lift is more important to increase than duration. So if this car is a daily driver it might be worth looking into some lower duration/higher lift option. however that combination is more harsh on the rest of the valvetrain and is potentially trickier to fit. If it's just a weekender then don't worry those cams will be awesome on boost. If you desire response over top end power the factory cams are a great option. especially in the Neo as they have a bit more lift than the 33 cams anyway. glad to hear you're keeping VCT though
  20. What fuel are you going to use?
  21. where do people find these cars... I swear once a week there's a thread from someone buying a car that has a T3/T4 Ling long ebay special, stainless highmount, boost leaking FFP and a standard ECU.... and they're asking us why it runs like shite if at all
  22. 3.8psi hahah 100kw @ 2500rpm would be interesting
  23. weird failure... how about the movement in the actuator? Is it moving normally?
  24. ETM hasn't been mentioned. Why a T04z? it's closer in size to a GT4094 than a GT3582. not good on a 25
  25. actually yeah I've seen old original rad mount rubbers that allow the rad to sit at funny angles too. makes sense
