  1. Head should be back from the machine shop tho week. Gone with big cams & valves, springs a shimless setup plus rear head drain & NITTO oil pump. Getting close.
  2. Maatouks are picking everything based on the power & reliability I asked for so apparently a Precision but I don’t know what one yet. As soon as I get the specs & parts list I’ll post it.
  3. Ok bottom end done full NITTO 3L grout filled & brace adapter for the sump & front diff. Waiting on the head ?
  4. OK so its started Fully forged RB30 1000HP bottom is being machined & built & my RB26 head is also being machined & upgraded, soon for all the new parts to be ordered. The crank decided the direction I headed - see uploaded image & find the fault Anthony Maatouk has come up with just what I wanted a bullet proof forged motor...
  5. Yea it should get me to the speed limit very fast. ?. Still waiting they had a few things come up like responding to JUN2 beating their 1/4 mile time I don’t want to rush them as it’s not easy to get work done on a Stagea by a GTR specialist plus the wife has a M135i BMW (278KW) & I have a Harley & a BMW sports tourer as well

  7. So after about 2 years at 297ATW KW I need more. dropped my 260RS of at Maatouks Racing last Thursday, motor should be out by Wednesday this week to get a full build done. Not sure what will be done yet until the block & crank are inspected but either way 650KW ATW should be happening in about 6-8 weeks. Going back down this week to pick up the car without the motor so I can tidy up a few things while it easy to get in & under the front end. The boys were impressed with how clean & straight the old Stagea is so I'm sure they'll look after it, as soon as I get more info & they start the work I'll post update & picks. Wish me luck...

  9. It has been done by Motor Sports Mechanical in their 8sec GTR by using custom rocker covers that are 20 mm lower so it clears the bonnet with no cutting or spacing
  10. So its been a while but I've done Project Mu 400 pads & disc machine all round, replaced a king pin & bearing Passenger side, fitted a set of BC Racing BR coil-overs & set the ride hieght. Had an Extreme Carbon button clutch fitted while in there had the passenger front axle seal in the front diff replaced & the drivers side uni joint boot split so had a new one made up. put a set Split-fire coils in, put a 2 row 40 LED light bar behind the grill & 2 LED flood lights under the fuel tank straps for reversing plus a new set of tyres & complete service. OK what to do next month... Oh and put some whisper roof rack on the cross bars. and and found an original 260RS instrument cluster in Canada of all places & fitted it to replace the white GT one the the Japanese owner had fitted because he wanted white gauges, but the tacho, was red at 7,000 rpm instead of 8,000 plus it stopped at 9,000 instead of 10,000 & had the auto section blacked out so looks way better with the original back in, while I had it out I fitted LED globes to the entire dash, centre console & interior.

  12. Really interested in the clutch but don't know enough about them I have a Stagea Genuine 260RS RB26DETT that will need a clutch soon but I don't know if I can get the one you have to fit.. if you have any info that might help confirm it will fit please let me know & we can talk $
  13. I have a WGNC34 Stagea 269RS with Lumley Classic Car insurance agreed value 25K. Most other places were stupid prices, I even have windscreen and glass with NO excess. I'd try them or Shannons & don't wait for your policy to run out get a refund ASAP.
  14. I'm after the rear stagea & the double unicorn badges, how much?
  15. Hi I'm also in Newcastle, how much for the front seats mine are electric & leather way to heavy & no side support.
  16. Your absolutely right but I still took the opportunity to tell the Aussie wife they were faulty & replaced all six with new splitfies & the contacts cleaned & the dielectric grease. It too brought awesome results.
  17. Take it out remove & clean the 3 electrical connectors replace them & check probably a bad connection by the sounds of it. Be gentle as they are just strip connectors just clamped in by the plugs.

    Stagea Issues

Super Cheap sells a spray to fix squealing belts. Saw it in the shop today when I was looking for dielectric grease for my coils. Shit this is an old post. Ha ha ha so tired.....
  19. I found a genuine front grille Autech Version badge. Looks great but expensive but it was a blank area that looked like it needed a badge. I also added some cheap nismo badges front and rear as sacrificial offerings to keep the idiots away from the genuine ones.
  20. Project Mu pads fitted & make a huge difference & no dust much better braking but still needs attention maybe the rotors skimmed & the system bleed with fresh dot5 fluid. I also found a genuine instrument cluster from Montreal Canada that has turned up so my tachometer reads correctly. I'll be fitting that this week with a fresh set of super white led globes. Awesome find, now I won't have the blacked out auto trans lights.
