I saw about three M35 Stageas today... they're so common in Auckland it's not even worthy of saying I saw them :P, but I never see C34s.

So I can't find any info on series 1.5 c34 brakes.... what brakes will fit? i've heard that R33 GTT fit straight onto S1 and R34 GTT fit straight onto S2? But what fits on a S1.5?

I totally went out and bought 6.5" went to chuck them in the front and they were still too small! so I was like what the heck.. and thought well I might as well still get use out of them and put em in the back. Took off the back door panels and... turns out you're supposed to have brackets in the front.. So who ever thought it was smart to remove the front brackets or adapter things just made me have to run off to a parts place who had a stagea. Got there but there was only one front door so tried taking the bracket thing off and gave up after stripping the screws ://. Ended up finding some old Primera there and taking their brackets and just hoped they'd fit as they look the same in shape (they weren't >.<) The holes were a little too close together but I made it work! And........ the front right speaker doesn't seem to wanna work after all of that. Maybe the wire is loose at the back of the head unit... Oh! and does anyone know how to unclip those damn connectors that are used for the window switches and just about every other thing on this car!?!?! Driving me nuts. FYI: This is how a 16 year old kid approached this situation

Better be 6.5" in the front and 6" I took the door panel off once and I'm not willing to do it again just to measure lol

Got the new earth and thats good but even with powering the booster it was still terrible quality, so I just made up a piece of wire to use as the antenna, it's not the best but it'll do
-
New headunit but still poor radio reception I replaced the aftermarket headunit that was already in my stagea with another aftermarket one (old one had shitty reception too) After connecting all the wires to the correct place the signal is still crappy. I understand that the antenna booster needs power? (the blue wire?) or should I be powering it using the red power wire? I'm lost with that so i thought I would try using a bit of wire as the antenna but turns out you can't do that because the headunit doesn't power on unless the original hardwired antenna is plugged in (wtf) Any help appreciated..
