  1. man talking in pounds and miles really does my head in, we live in Australia bro.
  2. wallah you want a Nistune? pull out your ECU and we'll get it done through my trade account
  3. Just confirms how mentally retarded I am throwing more money at it 😐
  4. As in the Plazma clamps? Nah normal silicone joiners and hose clamps are fine for me. Only going to run about 2 to 2.2bar of boost. The TB, had no choice because of the DBW adaptor.
  5. New hot pipe too, because why not. Also the existing one didn't fit too well as it was made to suit a HDi intercooler which sat a bit more forward when compared to the Plazmaman Pro core. We haven't discussed cost yet 😅
  6. You could run a spare output out to the RHS fuse/relay box and trigger the fan relay there. On ECR33 that fan is only triggered by the radiator temp switch, aka the overheat fan. I've just wired a diode between the AC relay and fan relay, so when the AC is on the fan also turns on for additional cooling. Tempted to repin the TPS wiring (since I'm running DBW) and set it so that fan is ECU controlled with my parameters.
  7. Or wire it to an ECU output and trigger it when it hits a particular temp. A bit more elegant than flicking a switch
  8. Yep, all junk A few Silvias I tuned had overheating issues, popped the OEM fan back on and guess what? Went away!
  9. Sexual turbo setup for a basic build, great stuff Tao!
  10. Do yourself a favour and don't get turbo with a HKS, Trust, or Tomei badge on them. They're all shit.
  11. Fab Brief: must use existing hole, don't want a new hole through the washer bottle like all the other R33 GTS-ts out there. Also minimum pie cuts where possible (I reckon they're ugly). Result: Pretty damn happy with this 😁
  12. Interesting, with my PWR core I could do 10 hot laps at Wakefield at the water temp wouldn't move (mind you I was runing a 25 row oil cooler). With a Chyna eBay one, 5 hot laps and water would go over 100 - however different use case as the car wasn't idling in traffic.
  13. But it's aids, I don't want aids.
  14. Let's be honest, if we had 2JZ in these shit boxes from factory we wouldn't be burning so much cash to make modest power (400~500kW at the wheels).
  15. Jono, why not run an EWP and PWM Get exactly the cooling you require. Then you could even just delete the thermostat!
  16. Buying these cars requires a type of mindset, at times I think buying any JDM requires some form of slight mental retardation. I'll use myself as an example, buys a $5k R33, spends over $70k on it (I have a full spreadsheet of every part/machining/fab work that has been done/bought for the car. That list does not include anything maintenance related and the endless workshop hours, dyno hire, etc.) over the past 9.5 years. There are days I regret it and wish I bought a M3, there are days I marvel at the beauty of the heap of shit.
  17. I believe Brett appreciates you not sending him sex toys.
  18. @r32-25t might wanna repost that photo without your full name, address, phone number visible
  19. This I have to agree too, also their sausages are better. Went to their beer festival a few years ago in Berlin, that was great fun! RSA? yeah nah, here's a pint and a landyard so you don't drop your beer.
  20. Borrow a CAS and see if that is the issue, the OEM optical CAS (although great in theory) is actually flawed by the fact it is high resolution and with age fails to read properly. This is why many drop to a 24 - 1 cam trigger setup (myself included) OR a crank/cam trigger setup.
  21. If you can afford a GT-R you can afford not to use eBay turbos / an eBay turbo. Convert to a single turbo, twin are aids. Also your injectors are already too small, just straight out get Bosch 1650cc (they're actually 1480 but everyone calls them 1650, Part No. 0280158333).
