  1. @Rusty Nuts that's terrible, glad it wasn't just me with the shitty experience! When you think NRMA, you think PREMIUM service, but clearly doesn't seem like it. I just hope Enthusiast isn't like this either. Just with these boutique arms of insurance - they all seem to be similar, have a friend with Just Cars back in the day having issues getting his hail damage paid out as well. They told him the car was a write-off, yet wouldn't pay him the agreed value and only market.
  2. Well I can tell you that NRMA Vintage Veteran & Classic Insurance is a bit of bullshit. They state they will help organise a tow truck if your car ever breaks down 100km+ away from home. I tried to call and organise that, and somehow they couldn't find my policy. Then I gave them my policy number and they advised they would organise a tow truck and get them to call me. No-one ever called, then I called back they just transferred me to some other department and said look just get a tow truck organised and we "should" be able to sort it out. Not very clear, very vague, I then asked if they could just organise a tow truck for me, so that way it would be in their system. They advised I still needed to pay for it. At that point I was like whatever, just get me a tow truck. Tow truck company then calls, telling me they will pick up the car the next day and also can't take me back (due to covid). Long story short, my mate towed his car back to Sydney first, then came back to Sutton Forest to get me. A few months later (last week) I cancelled my policy and now with Enthusiast as well. $1.4k for $35k cover.
  3. And I want to see a 8k RPM launch 😍
  4. Finish car, do skids and 4WD helis. Keep car, keep spark. Does this spark joy? Fking oath it does.
  5. And yeah, fuark it.. couldn't find an used condenser so new it is!
  6. Future Classics we are hodling now, diamond hands baby.
  7. Very sex, this is why you see M2/3/4s at Wakefield just fly out of the fish hook, all the manual boys trying to rev match, shift dis dat, they're just cycling through the gears and flying out.
  8. New compound, same one I was testing out last track day when my motor seized 😅
  9. Nice exhaust, however that JASMA badge also means there's probably some form of restrictor inside of the muffler and/or pipe work. If you're not chasing power, then it's more than fine
  10. Can grab another gear mid drift at Powercruise and look like a sik karnt But no.. I will not Samsonas my car.
  11. lol... fuark the peer pressure is real, also my car isn't that low (as you can see in the photos). We sanded the towered back to bare metal around the rust areas, wasn't as bad as those photos. Hit is mum with rust converter and re-sealed, then painted over.
  12. Broscience tells me the S15 Manual CW&P will fit somehow lol. Will still go to closer tracks here and there, e.g. Luddenham, maybe Eastern Creek South Circuit etc. but not competitive, just squirts here and there. 100% will take it to Powercruise lol. Oh don't you worry, it will still be thrashed, just skidpans, Powercruise, etc.
  13. Do you need brake pads? I can help with Elig or Intima brake pads at very competitive prices for SAU members.
  14. Lololol... If it was a R33 dog box then maybe, but yeah CD009 seems appropriate, keeps the car driveable. Doubt it's seeing the track the way it did before.
  15. Oooft, can't wait! However, well done with the entire build. Heaps of effort and energy to do what you're doing
  16. 4WD Rev Limiter Launch.mpeg not loading 😅
  17. For now CD009 conversion seems like a good idea, with 3.6 diff ratio. This was kind of the plan from the start but who knows, could be a Samsonas considering what has happened so far 🤣
  18. Need a motor first lol. Paint code is Selenite Grey from a Bankstown Classic.
  19. Gender neutral reveal skids ready (minus motor). @SiR_RB about 500kW at the rear, pretty much same hotside, better head set up, better cooling and a bit more balls with timing. I want it all in between 4000 to 4300 rpm and spin its mum to 9000rpm.
  20. RB = oil issues lol From what Alex at Birrong has gathered the restrictors in the block were not small enough, too much crank case pressure from 2bar of boost and as the NEO doesn't run a front head drain/vent there's even more crank case pressure stopping the oil from flowing back down the sump. From here we will be welding fittings in the sump (above the oil line) to vent the crank case pressure, fitting a catch to sump drain (and only using it on track days, block off for street duties), retaining that additional crank case vent to catch can then fitting 1.1mm restrictors in (and yeah, fitting a head drain too)
