  1. Head might flow, motor might flow, but the twin restrictions will hamper the flow.
  2. Lifters and Injectors make more noise than the exhaust system ???
  3. Twin GT-RS kit? The single twin scroll was just a troll post.
  4. LS so 2010, Barra swap it. 500kW stock motor with just head studs, valve springs and a billet oil pump gear. A RB can only dream.
  5. Emotional attachment will lead to heartache. Sell yours and buy a GT-t
  6. You mean SR lol 0 to 600 degree pads, not too harsh on rotors and I can supply to SAU members too haha
  7. I would not use DBA pads, however their rotors are good. Avoid the T2 junk, get T3 aka DBA4000... also if you don't want rotors to crack don't gets slots. Slots are a marketing gimmick, also DBA machines them in after production, if they were cast slots then they wouldn't crack as easily. What's your budget like? Intima are decent pads at a fraction of the cost, Elig pads are a step up, followed by Project Mu (Australian Thailand made ones), followed by Project Mu (Japan, Japanese made ones). HC800+ is NOT HC+ no matter how much the guys up at Racers Warehouse in QLD say they're the same, they're simply not.
  8. Those figures are sky high, F1 motor flows less lol
  9. To add, the ATR45SAT, although a very capable turbo didn't wake up till about 4500rpm and had pretty much nothing prior. Would have been perfect on a 2.8 or a 3.0L! The GTX3576 Gen 2, albeit pretty much the same ish size of the Hypergear turbo is on and moving so much sooner. It's day and night difference, also the dose is phenomenal - like a Hans Zimmer concert (he's touring Australia again, so going).
  10. Update time, albeit a bit dataless lol. Just got the car back tonight and I can tell you I've made the right choice with the twin scroll GTX3576 Gen 2 with 1.01 rear housing. Because I decided to remove all the after market gauges in my car (boost, afr, fuel temp, ethanol %) I had no idea what was really going on without a laptop. So drove it around with 6 month old E85 in the tank and with the same timing map as before with only the turbo on gate pressure (1 bar) and it exceeded my expectations to simply put it. At 3k rpm you could hear the turbo working by 4k rpm it was clearly on and moving. Transient response by feel was decent too. I'll plug up over the weekend and produce some useful logs Only think I can think of that's holding back the setup now would be the FMIC ($100 eBay HDi special).
  11. Lololololol.. mate it's not cheap to skid semis. Already poor from the fab work
  12. No idea, but he has 2x big dollar car builds. I regard myself as insane with 1x car build that's incomplete however my focus is elsewhere these days. Getting the car back tonight Probably need to work on the tune a bit since the changes, so won't skid it's mum yet. Also need some cheapie tyres on the back, it's got 4X 265 new semis on it lol.
  13. @mlr you really should buy my R33, it has a full twin scroll setup which your old R33 never had Also has fab work that's over the top and overkill LOL I really want a stock fast car, where modding consist of plugging up an OBD2 cable.
  14. You just want to buy my R33 Has all the fun bits, fuel system cost more than the car lol. Fab work cost more than the car too! Could have bought 4x stock R33s lol
  15. PowerFC life, you can't alter the cranking ignition timing. You could try adding more fuel, but the trick I found to cold starting E85 was to actually run more cranking timing
  16. Sounds like your neighbour has a brain the size of a peanut and probably the type to have never left the country on any holiday (Indo/Bali is not leaving the country, it's just an unofficial extension of bogan Australia).
  17. The so called "crash" didn't really crash in South Western Sydney, just depends on areas which needed a correction rather than anything else. Lower socioeconomic areas seem to maintain their value albeit haven't increased either. I dare say it's a great time to buy, I would too but I'm at close to 80% LVR lol
  18. Should put your money into proper investments instead of burning it on cars which to be fair, either depreciate like crazy or appreciate very slowly with no access to equity.
  19. Please tell him to use derived torque instead of roller torque, so your torque isn't showing some BS sky high number.
  20. Does the alternator work once you connect a direct +ve into the exciter input? Of course don't leave it connected!
