  1. Because either are both an addiction that ruins lives lol Strippers and hookers are a much healthier option.
  2. Is the car running any form of aftermarket alarm or immobiliser?
  3. Speak to either James or Alanah (his wife) at GameOn Motorsports. They're good on price and support.
  4. firmware, just bring the ECU back to haltech.. I believe they also delete a resistor on the ECU too, but when I got it done for a customer it was free
  5. lazy bastard lol.. the lock bar is a piece of piss.. the full eliminiator kit takes a bit of time, but worth it.. I wrote a guide too here it is for anyone interesting in deleting the bullshit Nissan put in: http://www.trak-life.com/diy-hicas-delete-hicas-eliminator-kit/
  6. Skylines (GT-R, GTS-5t, GTS-4) that have ended their lives in trees or poles or armcos or walls generally have HICAS. The system is too slow to react and instead of aiding, it actually degrades handling.
  7. Yes, they delete their resonators and retard heaps of timing on gear shifts to increase the farts... however they are there for a reason, to cut torque between gear shifts so the box doesn't go bang. The farts are a byproduct of timing retard between gear changes
  8. I took my circuit built R33 to a skid pan, and I quickly realised I needed a smaller turbo so I bought a new smaller turbo lol
  9. doesn't have launch control though, and doesn't make DSG farts lol
  10. why would you even build a car then? The more money I've poured into my car, the more I've taken it to Wakefield Park to enjoy. There's simply not enough road and rules for a built car on our streets.
  11. If it's not pressurised don't worry, the venturi/return can be left stock. Just change the pressured line to a gates barricade hose, cheap enough and easy enough
  12. Yep, I drove a R34 GT-R around Japan.. was a piece of shit. Needed a single, and HICAS delete
  13. Ask and you shall receive
  14. Show us a photo of the Tigs you drive
  15. I am sure my wife's 162TSI Tiguan would perform better than a stock R32~34 GT-R around turns
  16. Yes only Platinum comes as a plug-in, all Elite ECUs are generic and require a patch harness. With the Platinum Plugin, I recommend running an external MAP sensor. The internal one is only 2.5 bar, which means it can only read 1.5bar of boost. Anything above that will flat line.
  17. Of course they're still relevant, the later firmware allows you to run a flex sensor directly into it and with the expansion harness you're able to do a bit more without the need of installing an I/O expansion box. A few limitations of the Platinum are lack of support DBW, inability to run any style of trigger/crank/cam kit, no rolling anti-lag, no traction control, strain gauge input for sequential or dog boxes etc. I would still use it, but brand new the price point between that and the Elite, one would jump onto the Elite.
  18. that's it Another reason I'm respraying it back to an OEM colour (previous owner of the car was a true bogan and sprayed it Auto Salon homo purple)
  19. Those are actually bypass valves for when oil filters fail OR clog up, they don't aid in creating any oil back pressure. I've too deleted my oil filter housing/heat exchanger completely and have replaced it with a JHH oil housing which has 2x 10AN IN/OUT. Thread 3/4-16-UNF-2B
  20. Er? GTS-t and GT-R both have that rubbish HICAS that everyone throws into the bin. stock twins are terrible, laggy
  21. R33s are today's Commodore VN, the GT-R variants are like a Commdore VN SS - however with the recent pricing bubble, the GT-R variant is now seen as a super car. I hate my R33 GTS-t shit box, but I never bought it to be a weekender, it was always destined to be a track car.
  22. No real updates besides I am getting a new turbo setup and have bought a new N1 oil pump and moving my billet gears over to it. As of recent, brake light was always on too, turns out the "brake pedal stopper" snapped off so the switch wasn't pressed when the pedal was extended upwards. $11 part, coming soon, this is it btw: There's a cheaper clear one for $4.40 vs $11 this is, but yeah might crumble again so went for this one.
  23. Most true rebirthing artists remove the entire firewall and respot weld the firewall with the legitiment VIN.
