Lololol wouldn't be surprised if it the same factory produces parts for Garrett. Mamba turbos are decent, plenty of EVO boys use them with great results. No turbine hunting when you kiss the limiter. Yeah I talk up Garrett shit all the time, and recommend them to all my mates/customer care but never ran a large one myself or tuned one. Most of the cars I tune are SR20s (if you follow trak-life on Instagram)

Hypergear ATR45SAT w/ 0.82 rear and ceramic ball bearing centre. It's actually off the car now lol.. going GTX3582R and high mount now. I want that twin scroll life, not about that single scroll life anymore. Anyone want it? Lol

Just an update (for those wondering and for future people with the same issue or so). Turns out the oil pump gears and housing were heavily scored and also the gears pitted from either cavitation OR foreign material being ingested. Removing the sump showed no signs of metal or debris, pick up was clean and oil filter (although not taken apart) appeared clean inside as well. Was unable to pick up on any foreign debris which alludes me to thinking there was some form of tolerance using the billet gears in an old housing and/or some for of cavitation which destroyed the gears and then the housing. A new N1 pump has been purchased and now waiting on Spool Imports to re-open and a new set of gears will go back on. Hopefully this will solve the issue(s). And during this time, I decided to put a bigger turbo on too - old setup has been removed (manifold, gate, lines, screamer are sold - everything else still available)

You'll pull it off, with power to back it up. None of this bullshit aero and phat wheels for car park meets and Instagram likes ?

Here's a photo of a NEO motor with R33 ancillaries bracket (the AC/PS pump were both cable tied on the body so I wouldn't need to regas lol)

Hoist life, seems like natural habitat for this sietbok. A bit of skills involved but managed to remove sump, and oil pump with motor in the car ? And yeah here's what billet gears looked like after I started having oil start up issues. Sump, filter, pickup all clean. So must have been from the start I assume.

Advice on upgrades
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to noperope's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I did 499hp on the stock HG and ARP studs with 25psi on E85. Lasted a few years of track abuse, skid pans, more anti-lag launches than you'll see in a WRC season before it smashed a bunch of ringlands, valves, turbo, left metal lodged in the head, valves, turbo, exhaust. Followed by metal shavings in the oil cooler system, sump, pickup etc. Lol -
What diff is this
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Alec33's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Open Diff can't really shim that, options are to get a real diff OR mig up it's mum and lock it. -
I have a Hypergear ATR45SAT with the optioned Ceramic Ball Bearing Centre and 3" V-Band rear housing for sale if you want. Would make 400kW+ with the right bolt ons, $1000 and I'll throw in a 4" stainless steel intake pipe & pod filter.

Happy New Year! So some updates (no photos though, broke my "waterproof" phone when I jumped into a pool). Removed sump, oil pump, oil pump housing to find that the innards were all scored and pitted as though something was ingested, however the sump and pick up appeared to be spotless. Billet gears inside all damaged and just for a sanity check, decided to measure the tolerance between the crank snout (made by Spool Imports) and the Billet Oil pump gears and discovered a whooping 0.22mm tolerance each direction (not sure intentional). Have contacted Spool but they're off till the 14th of Jan. Also got a call from Sparesbox yesterday and they're now (after 4 weeks) unable to supply me with the GTX3576R Gen 2, instead they've offered a GTX3582R Gen 2 instead, beggars can't be choosers so I said yes.

GOT SUM's RB34
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to klutched's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Damn that is aids, but you know they're just prioritising customers. They rather supply to the big shops first as they get a fair whack of advertising through social channels and of course MotiveDVD when they do a workshop tour or so. Always a pecking order but like others have said they have a reputation so zero fks given to someone like you or I. Plazmaman isn't "too" bad but lately with the two new sales guys it's has been questionable too lol. -

But once your subframe bushes are that cooked, the pineapples don't do much anymore. Ask me how I know lol -
R32 GTR Losing 10psi Fuel Pressure at WOT
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to TXSquirrel's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
FPCM is most likely exacerbating the issue, also that valve. Nissan put those OEM valves in to bleed once it exceeds a particular pressure. I beleive it was mainly a safety feature in the even of clogged fuel filters, etc. however a big pain the arse when you start applying boost. I would just simply delete the pressure relief valve and ground off the fuel pump to the body, i.e. bypassing the FPCM. -

Precision Billet Turbos
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to R32GTR/Iceland's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Time for a larger spring for the gate OR run a 4 port solenoid (may have missed it, but I'm assuming you're running a 3 port) -
