  1. best part about nistune is their trace functionality, shows you a load trace and display afr or whatever value you want other ECU software you need to log, then read the log for that view (just makes it a tiny bit more time consuming) I've been following Stu's post, seems the 1st batch were slightly dodgy however it appears it may have been fixed.
  2. here's the thread: http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2708
  3. Stu released a Type 6 board (still beta/prototype) to nistune your stock ECU (in the past had to be a Z32 8-bit ECU) There was a thread started in this forum, however r31nismod decided to delete it because it sounded too much of a trader ad. You should speak to Mat from Nistune, he might have a solution for you retaining your factory ECU, however with the new type 6 nistune board. I, myself have not used (type 6 that is) however it looks very promising, have however used/tuned other nistune vehicles and it's great.
  4. spotted a R32 GT-R up down Horsley Drive yesterday arvo - harroo... gave some gate, owner loved it haha
  5. oi, come HSV track day, 23rd March.. come chop bogandores
  6. ^ Stao from Hypergear has tested numerous turbos on stock vs. aftermarket manifolds.. the stock one always produced better results - in terms of response, however outright power wise, aftermarket ones produced more power however with some added lag.
  7. Rex sells for the same price too for RBs, it's not $500
  8. hit up Stao from Hypergear he should be able to point you in the right direction.. they're roughly the same price as 6Boost give or take.
  9. ^ and put your stockies on, and change the ramp rate so it's shorter
  10. ^ upload it to like photo bucket and attach the image here
  11. 3.5" the whole way DO IT.. I'm going to do that when I decide to plumb my external back.
  12. yeah I'll give that a crack, I told him not to buy it but he's a GK Tech fan boy so he bought it along with a bunch of their suspension arms, after I specifically told him ONLY to buy the rear camber arms LOL
  13. spotted SHY26L R32 GT-R Hume Highway Sunday arvo
  14. ^ just in case some dim sims go exploding LOL I got a mate who insisted that GK Tech fans were awesome sauce (S15 owner duh!) so he invested in their fan, and radiator.. guess what? his water temps are now higher than his stock setup.. lol he's going to wakefield with me next month, probably wise to bring along the stock rad & fan too lol
  15. good to see some hard facts then again the stock fan blades are larger, in terms of surface area so you would think it will/would move more air than a smaller fan.
  16. maybe try P100 (10% ethanol).. have a read of this article: http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/customers/chris_ceffy.shtml quite interesting that only 10% ethanol in the blend actually makes a decent enough difference, allowing for more timing to be added.

  20. Woohoo, it's in! Loving gate atm, just running 0.5 bar at the moment till I work out what ecu I get. Will hack up the stock shield tomorrow and heat wrap the screamer, it's a tiny bit loud lol
  21. I bought my own female (singular) connectors and soldered 12ga wire directly to it, I even left the factory wiring/relays/FPCM/resistor alone - in the event my dual relay setup fails I still can plug back the OEM wiring and drive home
  22. what do you need done exactly? I got a mate that's pretty cluely with the MIG, however will be in mild steel. He recently modded my dump pipe (extended, reclocked and v banded) and the welds are awesome. He's in Lansvale too, so not too far from you and is actually friends with Hakkan (if that makes a difference) haha
  23. My friend bought one, we saw the insides and he then sold it back on eBay and now runs the stock manifold then thought, hey let's go on alibaba and find one, turns out it's identical (just different photos, in different lighting). Up to you buddy.
  24. are the front springs progressive? also how high do they sit? If they're progressive and sit about 5cm ish gap from tyre to wheel arch I'll take the fronts (if you're willing to separate) ** tried to PM you yesterday, your box is full.. I mean your inbox lol
  25. probably through Alibaba or Aliexpress, because they look identical Looks familiar? http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Top-mount-turbo-exhaust-manifold-for-Nissan-Skyline-RB20DET-RB25DET-3mm-mild-steel/1052835806.html Wow looks like the same turbo kit Hybrid Performance sell too? http://www.aliexpress.com/item/WSRacing-turbo-kit-for-Nissan-Skyline-RB20DET-RB25DET-Upgrade-430hp/1052572162.html
