  1. Twin scroll manifold, with pulses split to the gate, looks the business! Silly to go single scroll these days, not sure why go many big setups still do this when you have beautiful manifolds like that!
  2. but his standard turbos have already died, nek minnit PRP catalogue, block brace, G40-900 twin gates, Samsonas
  3. Another option is, get the turbos on, then get a Nistune ECU get it tuned OR get a Haltech Platinum Pro (not too expensive) unplug the AFMs/MAFs and feed a vacuum hose to the ECU and just use the base map (has crap all timing in it).
  4. Come take the R33, has subwoofer in boot, climate control and big whooshy turbo. $60k, I'll even throw in my tool cabinet & tools.
  5. Or somewhere your intake plenum isn't flat and sucking in additional air, then your closed loop O2 control strategy is adding in more fuel to compensate for the false positive lean condition. The above could apply to a pinched injector seal The above above could also apply to an exhaust manifold leak, where additional air is being sucked in through a venturi effect and once again your o2 is reading baloney.
  6. Did you get an instant rejection or a personalised e-mail/call from a human? A human from Enthusiast actually asked for photos of my car, parked in my garage to be e-mailed. They asked for engine bay shots, interior shots, around the car to prove it was actually garaged and not some clapped out shit box. I suppose you could try with them and send photos of your car locked up behind a heavy duty gate?
  7. My shit box is with Enthusiast for $50k at $1.6k, 8000km max travel a year. 8000km per year LOL.. I've done like 400km this year so far, still 7600km to go!
  8. You've got a sex spec ECU, I would just PWM them at the same duty cycle based on engine load. None of this staged business 😊 OEM++
  9. I've had a 2x mates kill 044 pumps on dedicated E85 cars, not to mention they're so damn loud. And somewhere on the classic nissansilvia forum someone did a tear down of one describing why/how they're not happy with ethanol/alcohol fuel types. Might have been Trent from Chequered Tuning under the URAS alias IIRC.
  10. Just ordered a new 10bar pressure sensor, time to get this car to the dyno me thinks.... And shout out to @soviet_merlin @r32-25t for pointing out moron here (me) posted up my address in a screenshot of parts I'm about to order. Thanks @niZmO_Man for deleting it Derp... In other news, Birrong Automotive has a hub dyno now that I can use. Means no more wheel spin and over strapping (this causes power loss and tyre wear).
  11. I hope they don't cancel the Targa, but at the same time I hope there are added safety measures such as armcos, etc. to reduce the risk of tragedies. The media and non motor enthusiasts will do anything to shut it down, however what they don't know is motorsports brings heaps of money into the economy. Anyhow, car looks like great fun to drive - even on a stock motor. Kudos to you for not raising your hand in the air like you're conducing a symphony between gear changes Seems like that is a very common thing to do now with the roll racing/drag racing fellas. Pull a gear, raise your hand like you're requesting for a crescendo LOL.
  12. This will inevitably happen Especially if street driven, if it's a dedicated drag car on nitrous, meth, and big stally auto then probably no.
  13. You forgot croc of shit in that list. Yesterday I started it, drove it out in the sun, looked at it and said to it "fking croc of shit" and reversed it back in and back on the CTEK. Did enable VCT at idle, has a GT-R idle now 😂
  14. So how many boofheads do you need to take out on the exhaust gear?
  15. Why is nearly everyone on this JDM bias forum saying this? 😭
  16. Stress testing and iterative improvement strategy. Evergreen solution to a car build.
  17. There we go, I was wrong Happy to admit it too, unlike Facebook - where most will argue they're right even if they're wrong!
  18. @GTSBoy always good to get your technical perspective, hence the tag
  19. I think I need a diagram to visualise this lol
  20. Theoretically you shouldn't move it, because if you do your TDC will be offset. By ret4rding the cam gear, you're just ret4rding the exhaust cam and it's unfortunate the CAS is running off the exhaust cam. If you resync it, then your entire timing map will be off. Those are my thoughts, happy to be corrected by someone at least 3x smarter than me @GTSBoy lolol
  21. Yes, if you're using a PowerFC door stopper or a stock ECU If you're using a configurable one, you can set whatever voltage is the floor for the the ECU to you know you're at 0% throttle to enable the idle strategy and/or decel fuel cut. Really hard to say, best way is to incrementally ret4rd it on the dyno and graph the differences between runs.
  22. LOL... I've had a taste of adaptive cruise, lane assist and autonomous braking and unfortunately those Jap dictator cars don't have those features Too many morons on the road - and we know computers react faster than humans. Tiguan has saved me from rear ending a few cars and a dog's life when he ran across the road. Car stopped for me then threw on the hazard lights automatically - cool aye? LOL they're ugly bro LOL... Sure, $60k and comes with a free built & resprayed R33 lol I think the best solution is I have 3x cars, but that's not possible because if I park both in the garage and the family car is outside my wife would not be very happy getting in/out of the car in cold/rain, etc. If I park one of the shit boxes outside, it will get stolen within hours where I live lol.
  23. WOT is wide open throttle, Nistune allows you to adjust the minimum voltage before the idle strategy is enabled. Easier to leave it how it was before as the TPS calibration in Nistune isn't as straight forward as a modern ECU.
