  1. I've only known Fairmont life, which is plush af, all electric everything and a digital clock in the dash that dies fast.
  2. My second AU, first was a Fairmont. All doors work, all electrics work, once I get 2 new window switch. Oh is the aerial electric? Maybe that doesn't work. Front and rear bumoers have been rattle canned and are haggard as f**k lol, but vents are cool.
  3. Fingers crossed as I'm a bit over it. In good news, build plate confirms car left factory with LSD, will confirm it still has it.

  5. Wasted another few hours on it last night without success, but think I may be onto something. Swapped entire fuel rail out which different reg, no good. Swapped in GTR fuel pump, no good. Checked fuel filter, looks ok but had the wrong one to swap in. Checked diagrams this morning while scratching my head, appears fuel return and delivery lines are backwards into the rail 0_0 Hoping it's just that and I can get on with oil/brake/coolant change. Really enjoying the orange gasket shit everywhere...
  6. Behold, the beauty of my AUII XR6! Won't bother starting new thread, will be pretty obvious which car is which when updating. First event for the Silvia is still months away and as I wanted to get into some dirt action this year, and get my partner involved, I'm going to have a crack at a few motorkhanas, hopefully starting with a tarmac event this weekend as a shaekdown, if I can get the car sorted. Lots of dodgy shit on this car but it is RWD, manual, and has a fat exhaust and a pod filter so we're good. Missus spent some time cleaning the filthy interior while I toiled away on the other stuff. Car drove home (working AC and cruise!) so it's not "that" bad, but it needs some love. Actually, yes it is that bad. Done so far: Removed, repaired, and refitted extractors. Tested, repaired, diagnosed faulty power windows, some switches on the way, but all windows up now at least. Broke one ignition lead removing it to check plugs, plugs were good, replaced all leads with some mint spares, now have 5 left overs... Adjusted Handbrake as best I can. Adjusted clutch pedal height, clutch is firm AF, may get a new cable for it at some point. Tried to fit my silvia rims with old 235 RSR's, no good because Falcon uses 12.7mm (1/2") studs vs 12.5 for Nissan, which will be why you see ford rims on Nissan more often. Removed multigrips from fuel line... Car has the wrong regulator in it also, car won't run without the multigrips lol, seems to have a fuel pressure issue. Have another rail/reg to try and will put new filter in, if no good, will be pump. Dropped tyres from the 75psi pressure they had in them to a more reasonable 36 hot... Broke tabs off ignition coil block, just by removing ignition leads from it... Sweated profusely. Swore a lot. Killed a lot of spiders. Still to do, before this weekend! Finish fixing fuel issue. Fix gearknob, very poorly attached. Change brake fluid and add some baller brake vents. Replace oil and oil filter. Replace brown dam water with coolant. Finish connecting rest of exhaust. Reconnect column to rack, had to be removed to get extractors out. Wash? Wishlist 2x Race seats and harnesses. Bulk skids. Better rims/tyres. Minimal spend. Specs. Pod with carbon intake shroud. Pacemaker extractors into 2.5" exhaust. EL XR6 Rims with 205 rubber Altezza taillights High spec leather interior Working fancy kenwood stereo Clarion speakers all round, 3 work.. Some hecktik rear body kit and weird spoiler, both rattle canned black. Badly peeling tint. Speco pedals Momo gearknob Twin piston brakes, which are shit anyway. Praying it has LSD, initial burnouts suggest yes.

  9. KR4 was R34 colour, like mine. Daz you should give me this car, including all the good bits and like 50k.. Sure, that would be a massive hit for you, but it would be great win for me, and that's what really matters GLWS - god I love this car.

  11. I don't think it matters, I've got an older GoPro4 and a quality SanDisk card and it never seems to capture anything when I'm doing illegal stuff, it's really odd.

  13. Getting a lot of requests for videos, I assume given my distance from capital cities. I've added 5 videos to the album and can take more as required. I'll have the car out tonight for some professional photos, then not again for a while so any requests should be made quickly

  15. I thought those CD009s were cheap as chips even new and were good for decent torque? I'd choose that or PPG set so you can play with ratios as well.

Anything that has come off the car has had new gaskets when it went back on where applicable. AC Serviced/Regassed. ISSUES/BLEMISHES - Few small stone chips in front bar/bonnet. A few small scuffs/scratches along skirts/sills etc. One noticable blemish under clear in passenger rear quarter. One small tear/wear through in carpet right next to foot rest in driver side foot well. One very small burn mark on driver side rear seat, appears to be from solder of rear speakers. Rear antenna removed from car, but available. Radio reception not fantastic but I never use it. Small wear mark on passenger side guard liner. Blemish on cowl beneath windscreen. Passenger side headlight had a plastic repair done on one tab, in white instead of black. Chassis rails have minor indentation from jack stands, actual jacking points are very clean though. SPARES/LEFTOVERS - (Original = came from this car) Original cams. Original cam gears. Original valve springs. Original shims. Original fuel pump. Original fuel pump regulator. Original rubber intake pipes to turbos. Original Balancer. Original Engine Mounts. Original Trans Mount. Original Oil Cap. Original stick on rear window Antenna. Standard bolt on brake ducts for OEM R34 Front bar. Standard Exhaust manifolds. Standard Exhaust manifold shields. Standard and brand new fuel filter. Standard oil/coolant lines from hot side. Compliance modified rear speaker covers (holes for child restraints). Left over Z-Spec Black and Red coloured fasteners/washers + bolts that were replaced. 2x -9 turbos, 1x mint condition (7000ks still has balance marks etc), 1x with damaged compressor wheel, but spins freely. Genuine airbox, side port, snorkel with new foam. Apexi Panel filter to suit airbox, done a few hundred k's max. Greddy radiator diversion panel, painted black. Generic oil filter relocation block plate with lines to add on to the HKS cooler kit, was gong to fit next service. Random stickers from parts purchases if that's your thing. There may be some other bits I've forgotten. I would consider a few things as part payment, though I realise the likelihood of people having them is low. CA18DET engine: Forged, stocked, spun bearing etc - priced accordingly. Close ratio dog box with CA/SR bell housing. A half decent dual axle car trailer, tilting/bagged, but low car friendly. A few extra bits of info to assist. Car comes with 2 keys, 1x Original GTR key, one genuine but generic Nissan key I had cut. Alarm only has 1 fob, but another can be still be purchased. Not interested in any form of Crypto as payment. No, I will not meet you half way to inspect it, I've tried to provide as much info as possible to assist on this front and can take more photos as needed. Inspections welcome, but you will not be driving the car until it's clear that you're serious about buying. Mechanical inspections welcome, if the mechanic is not known to me the car will be put in valet mode if driving it is necessary. Contact details of tuner who did most of the bigger ticket mechanical jobs and tuned it are available. I have a bit of doco to go with the car, receipts, pictures of the build, import/degreg papers etc. No rush to sell so please do not waste either of our time with low ball offers. Overall the car is in very good condition for a 17yr old vehicle and has been well looked after. It's lucky to have done 2000ks in 2 years, I simply do not have the time to enjoy it.
