  1. Forgetting something Marko?
  2. Happy that someone won't waste $1000 for no reason.
  3. Not even close to the same ATM Nengun has them listed currently @ $3400 given the exchange rate has gone to the pooper. Way more than -9s with actuators/gaskets right now. Add postage, tax... You'll be pretty close to 4k landed. Which is around $800-$1000 more @ this point in time.
  4. engineers is 650-700 which includes brake test etc. Go to Enkleman in Braeside, cheapest in Vic Ive heard more on this RWC stuff. It's not a problem at all. "Sorry VicRoads, my hard drive had a failure" SIF as Mechanics to keep pictures, what a load of shit. Some of them don't even run computer systems. Another moroinic VicRoads decision that will see people hand in their RWC tester licence as its simply not worth the effort anymore
  5. And after a week - report the same?
  6. why did the FB groups start appearing yesterday then?
  7. PowerFC - problem solved and a good 5 tuners to choose from
  8. I had major issues with the Max's stuff i used years ago. Using the Bulk Nutrients stuff, no issue at all even using Milk which can set people off.
  9. 2510's are 'old hat'. Maybe 330rwkw. You'd you'd say Garrett -9s (aka GT-SS) would be the same ballpark. -9s being the newer tech and essentially a replacement for the HKS2510. -5s are around a 380rwkw. 2530s are bigger than -5s & will do 400-420rwkw. All turbos requiring more than 20psi on a 2.6ltr to achieve those power targets on pump fuel with reasonably aggressive tunes. 400rwkw and 'responsive' simply do not go into the same sentence unless you are running a 3.4ltr stroker. Given there are more than enough threads on GT30, GT35, 2530 & -5s... Go do some reading, all the above info is basically a summary of what you can find in the first 5 pages of this section. Need more info, search Closed.
  10. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/254450-79s-or-5s-garretts/ The thread with all the info, please read it.

  12. No T517z are in the middle, depending on housing choice will dictate how far to which side of "middle". To note they are bush bearing, and I've seen JAGR33's car go from 517's to -5s Same power, better response all over. There is a 517 graph on the the "dyno comparo" i posted a few months back.
  13. Thats about $200-$300 cheaper than the Blitz one that was discontinued. So if it fits decently then $700 isn't a bad price for the adaptor
  14. Reviews by who? Users who’ve simply picked up the car – or tuners? Either way it both mean very little. Why you ask? If your tuner doesn’t know his way around it and so on… You are going to pay more for the tune (due to time) and perhaps not get the best result (tuner not being familiar with it). You should pick the tuner & then the ECU… Not the other way around. Your options might be Chequered Tuning or maybe Chasers. I’m struggling to think of a workshop down here that has done a Haltech in a GTR before, let alone extensive Haltech experience on RBs If you went Nistune, PowerFC, Link/Vipec, Wolf you’d have more choices than you’d know what to do with…
  15. Mick @ Micolour would be where I'd start. If he can't do something he will know who can
  16. Says in the first post! Modified Classes: (Any of these Mods will put you into modified class) - R Spec Tyres / Slicks under a UTQG rating of 100 tread wear (not including 100) - A Roll Cage - A stripped interior. Removal of rear seats only is allowed.
  17. threads merged, please read rules before posting.
  18. Not with the current exchange rate. Cheaper to buy -9s and then gaskets etc. You'll save a good $300-$400 at least.
  19. Mine was without a doubt becuase it was constant 7300rpm and with sticky tyres, there was basically zero wheelspin
  20. Ye might still be too big. Try smaller or alternatively use the "other" file upload feature. It can be a bit funny depending on the broswer. You can change to "basic upload" in your control panel somewhere. I forget the menu but it's a check-box
  21. +1 The sheer cost and effort to get twin stock turbos onto a RB25 head is just not worth it for a start. Let alone the failure risk and thus motor...

  23. Shepparton mate. Thought it was on the website, realise it isn't. Will get it updated.
  24. Guys you need to be in Shepparton, not Benalla. It's a 25-30min drive in the morning to the track day. the rest of the w.e occurs in Sheppartion. Sat night its all walking distance so no need for driving
