Steering rack R33 Gtst
hardsteppa replied to E.Winjum's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Dont know you will get an answer as most people use the same rack as their car model is....i assume. I would suggest check amamaya.com for example, see if they have the same or interchangeable part number. случайные русские слова -

Don't ever use cheap spacers (or any spacers possibly?)
hardsteppa replied to PranK's topic in General Automotive Discussion
i'm not sure I understand the issue either; I used GK tech hubcentric issues with longer studs for many years with no issues, although agreed, never use uncentred " slipon" type/truly cheap sh^t. I had the " techs" at one Bob Jane outlet refuse to fit new tyres to my car because " I had spacers, and they're baaad, mmkay?" I asked him if he realised they were hubcentric, and he truly had no idea what that meant. -
KYB replacement struts for R33 GTST
hardsteppa replied to Train's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
and OP, don't. They're shit. even when I wanted a stock ride many years ago, I was like...wow I just wasted my money. Buy a set of BC's at least, for similar $$. -
how are manuals worth more than autos?
hardsteppa replied to Grayz's topic in General Automotive Discussion
prove to you, lol the cry of the new generation. "I'm the centre of the universe and you must prove your point of view worthy to ME." ok sure - supply and demand. Troll level 1000% btw, good reaction on here already. -

and shortblock now assembled and complete. If it blows up within a month of being fitted I will be sure to let y'all know otherwise will just be one of the 100's of thousands that have used these rods and been happy with them so you never hear from them. I ran into an old cars associate the other week and told him about using these rods in the build; he rolled his eyes and said 'really??" ...so asked him, have you ever seen a set in person..." well, no"....ever known anyone who's actually used them, and had an issue? " well not me personally" ….ok well, great chatting, I'll take my own experience and my engine machinist's input over yours, thanks very much. So bottom line is, the money I saved on these over spool or scat, eagle branded rods went to other parts of the build, and I'm happy with that choice. Oh and I will soon have a rebuilt rb25det bottom end for sale too lol, 12 months old, OEM bearings/rings, ARP rod bolts.. HMU if interested . Now for selecting a new 650-700hp turbo....

just putting it oot there...you can also just buy an AN4 stainless end and cut to a suitable length, get rid of the excess. Tao just prob does it that way to avoid emails of ' the line supplied is too short!" so makes it plenty long.

hardsteppa replied to neopowered34's topic in General Maintenance
a multimeter is like, 15 bucks? or less off ebay. Less than the sensor anyway. Have you checked the coolant? maybe the refill was fkd up and the car is actually running too hot. -
Red way. Not going between turbo/exh manifold.

hardsteppa replied to Turbo_avi's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)

Tomei oil restrictors, 1.5mm, have 2 of them. Bought for current engine rebuild but now not needed - 1 still in wrapping, 1 opened, but both brand new/unused. $10 each, will post free if you buy both. 1x Stock exhaust manifold for RB25DET and RB20. In good order, I had it sitting around as a spare but now gone topmount manifold so not needed. Pickup only in Brisbane, bit too big/heavy to post.

Internally gated GT30 turbine housing with a 6-bolt RB25/Skyline dump pipe outlet. Is a hard to find 0.73 a/r size. Was on the Hypergear ATR43 ss2 that I'm still using; is for sale as am now running external wastegate so not needed. Approx 4 months old and in VGC.$120, Pickup in Brisbane or can post at buyers cost (approx $15-20).

Aeroflow piston ring grinder/filer with case, in almost brand new condition. Bought for current engine build; most rings were the right gap, just had to take a fraction off a few of the 2nd rings, so it's literally had less than 2 minutes total use.$75, Pickup in Brisbane or can post at buyers cost.

Full bolt list rb25de r32
hardsteppa replied to karlnr661's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
And why would you; alot of the bolts are "automotive only". I know because i've walked in with some and they've looked at them and said, 'nah mate they're automotive only". Hence my saying, automotive only for some bolts. That concludes my story. -
R32 gtr rear diffuser on r32 gtst sedan
hardsteppa replied to Darkslide88's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Oh and you also might need to extend it at the rear, so it doesnt finish to early, under the bump. Come to think of it, if i had to do it again i'd just make a custom one.
