  1. Nice work ? Were you not over 1000rwhp on a smaller Precision if I remember correctly ? How does the 7685 compare ?
  2. Your Google skills are weak, try harder next time... http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/flywheel-bolt-suit-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-rb25det-p-1737.html
  3. I think I know the repsonses you're going to receive here, so I'll go first. Never heard of them, but just looked them up. At $5000 - $6000 for the kit that doesn't make 600ps at engine it sounds like a huge waste of money. I don't think they'll come close to 350rwkw not running E85 as you have suggested. From my findings these would not be in the same league power wise as twin EFR6258, but I'll doubt anyone on here in Oz is running these either for comparison. They are not a bolt on either. Full boost Geoff is the best one to give info on them in the EFR thread. For what you have outlined as your aim for bolt on twins, no E85 and 350rwkw+ you're pretty much back to Garrett -5s mate. Even -7 / -9 seems to be better than these for outright power. You'll have trouble finding any new info on new bolt on twin upgrades on here, as frankly very few people are investing in any new type turbo bolt in twin setups - Everyone is heading in the single direction for upwards of 300rwkw.
  4. Pretty much repeating as above. I wouldn't touch anything Mishimoto, not when there is proven other stuff that works - guaranteed.
  5. They are the standard R32 GTR 30 splines I mentioned, and is what is used on GTR Nismo GT diff centre.
  6. Within Nismo, the GT LSD uses different shafts, not supplied, compared to the GT PRO LSD which does supply shafts, and indeed are sometimes the same length using two short shafts. That table your referencing from OS giken does not mean all the shafts on that table are interchangeable with each other at all, they are all different models of diff centres. For example, there is no 30 spline from giken to suit a GTR rear centre. Notice how on BNR32 it says use the 38220-12U00 and 38220-12U01 if existing is 30 spline, that's because the 12u shafts are 31 spline to suit the new giken centre. That link from street tuned is very misleading also, indicating you can use all of those different shafts in the same model, which is incorrect, as the shaft part numbers mentioned are all different spline counts and lengths as already mentioned. As Gtsboy said, R32 GTR 30 spline shafts might not fit for other reasons like the bearing shoulder being bigger, but if you do have 30 spline unequal half shafts already the only way to confirm is to physically try them. If you want to try them the correct standard R32 GTR 30 spline half shaft part is 38220-05U10 for the right and 38220-05U11 for the left. This is what is compatible on Nismo GT LSD (not PRO) for the GTR rear centre. This I can confirm as have purchased many 05u, 12u and 24u GTR shafts.
  7. No worries, seemed fishy. I'm sure if there was an alternative 2000cc+ injector on the market other than the Bosch LPG or Siemens ones people would already be onto it.
  8. These are definitely the gun "go to" injector, without going to IDs. I have these in my 32R with the 6466. Idles on petrol at 14.7 perfectly.
  9. Yep thats right. They are also listed as flowing 252cc/min, not 2000cc. This is for part 2F1E-A7A. I take it OP is referring to the eBay ad listing these injectors as 6 x R34 2000cc injectors for $200 ? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/r34-skyline-2000cc-bosch-fuel-injectors-x6-2F1E-A7A-200/124054198368?hash=item1ce234d860:g:IcAAAOSw2bRd5hmr There does not appear to be a part number 2F1E-A7A-2000, even though they are shown on the packaging. I suspect these are Ford Taurus 2000 model injectors, not 2000cc injectors and seller has no idea.
  10. Can't find a petrol 2000cc on the Bosch motorsport site, so is there one ? The Bosch 1550/1650cc seems to be the largest guaranteed from Bosch for petrol. I thought the Siemens 2000cc + (2400cc ?) was the only guaranteed petrol one on the market after speaking with CRD and Maatouks. They are around the $300 mark each too, a lot dearer than the Bosch 2000cc
  11. Not to mention the Bosch 2000cc are a gas, not liquid injector, and are shit for reliability. Been a lot of bad reports about them changing flow rates after repeated liquid use, causing individual cylinder lean outs. Lithium wrote something very detailed about them in here, I think it might be somewhere in the Borg Warner EFR thread.
  12. Very interesting approach Cryo treatment of a block. I think every one will be interested to see the results - good on you for having a go. That said I'm really not sure how you can really measure / quantify the improvement. This is a pretty interesting read: https://www.enginebuildermag.com/2017/03/big-chill-cryogenic-metal-treatment-benefits-may-not-visible-real/ One thing as previously mentioned is that the material definitely becomes more brittle. Another thing I picked up which I thought was interesting was the mention of completing any machining before the Cryo process, indicating a substantial increase in hardness. Whether this translates to a cast iron block not cracking as easily is yet to be seen I guess.
  13. ?? Perfect. I noticed they are AD08R. Interestingly, which I just found out when I fitted them to my 32R, is that they are a bloody big tyre. I have Advan V103 on my 33R in 275/35R18 and recently fitted the Advan AD08R on the 32R in 265/35R18 - the 265 is a much bigger / wider tyre than the 275. Great for a 33, but pushing it on the 32 without a fair bit of camber. Has anyone else found this with the AD08R being not comparable other tyres, as in, a LOT wider for a given aspect ratio ?
  14. It's a really good example for everyone of where not to mount the can, or put an oil vapour fuming filter, so this thread will useful to someone.
  15. Are you sure it's not 265/35, because why the hell would you go a 265/40R18 ? That's a 20 - 25mm + larger rolling diameter (670mm) than the factory range of 235/45R17 to 245/45R17 (642mm - 651mm). 265/35 or 275/35 on 18's on a 33 or 34 generally if you want your Speedo to be at all accurate, as above will read about 5% under, as in reading 95 when you're really at 100.
  16. Yeah mate, gotta press the shaft out, I did them on my 32 last year. I put a Reimax throttle refresh kit through it and new Nismo throttle springs, about a $300 exercise. The Reimax kit is the only way to get those stupid plastic spring locator bits (they are always broken in most 26s I've seen) and shaft seals new. Nissan don't sell the bits as the throttles are not supposed to be disassembled - they are sold new as a complete unit.
  17. Photos added. Standard R32 GTR coilovers R32 GTR Nismo Front upper control arms Turbosmart FPR800 adjustable fuel regulator
  18. Yeah, thought so. Yep Carmello still has the R31. Ozzy still here but doesn't have any Skylines anymore, he's too wrapped up with his shitbox cars with the rally and speedway scene. I'm probably about 2 years from moving myself, will have to plan it properly first with work transfer.
  19. Really ? So who's left here ? Alice is shit now, at least we have BP ultimate back and BP drum E85 readily available now. That said, I'm flat out. Still modifying the 33 GTR v spec with the 2 x GT-SS, / OS giken box, 32 GTR with the Nitto 2.8 / PAR dogbox / PTE6466, 32 GTR with the forged 2.6 / T78-29D (most time consuming bastard at the moment), 2001 WRX motorkhana car and 2015 WRX - and modifying the 2007 SY Territory on the side ! I'm still full time at work with two girls under 3. Covid-19 slowdown, yeah right !
  20. Shhhhh ! I've got 272 Camtech 9.7mm lift cams for sale right now on here, as we have changed back to stock cams in current 2.6 high mount build for the above mentioned reasons. I won't be able to sell them if you let the secret out ! ?
  21. OS88 solid shifter - SOLD HKS EVC III boost controller - SOLD HKS EVC IV boost controller not sold due to some people being dropkicks on here. Back up for sale. Added for sale: Used Nissan RB26 90A alternator - $150 Used Turbosmart FPR800 adjustable fuel reg in blue - $170 Used Nismo BNR32 front upper control arms with Nismo reinforced bushes - $330 - excellent condition Used standard R32/R33 GTR blow off valves - $150
  22. He has to pull the box out if he wants it fixed. If it is the input shaft bearing and you could live with the noise, yeah it could last years without anything really bad happening. Something suss about it only doing it after a clutch change, like stress being put on input shaft when removing the box, possibly damaging it.
  23. Probably not. Your flywheel is attached directly to your crank, spinning with your motor constantly, which would mean noise constantly. Your noise is whether the clutch is engaged or not. When clutch is engaged the input shaft bearing has a load on it which it does not have when clutch is not engaged, hence the suspected input shaft bearing failure. Release bearing is the opposite, no load when clutch is engaged, so that's why it's probably not that and also no noise in this condition. You have to pull the box out.
  24. Good luck mate and let us know the culprit
  25. Yeah I would have thought it would've died off ages ago from no mass adoption. We never ended up getting it on pump here, drum E85 shipped up is the only option. Cheapest it ever works out is about $4.50 per litre. Still works out better for a race fuel than what I used to pay when buying VP109 unleaded at $16+ a litre. I'd kill to have E85 on pump here, but I do think it will be relegated to drum only everywhere eventually.
