  1. No one ? Come on someone must be onto this. I'll owe you a beer or two ? As far as I can work out it is some kind of Sumitomo connector, but stuffed if I can find it in their catalogue. This shouldn't be this hard....
  2. When to shift. The threads keep getting better and better around here....
  3. Nah man, not normally a problem. Placed order and had it in my hand within two weeks. It the bloody 5 speed gearsets that seems to be the hang up at the moment. RHD have stock now, around $1000 + credit card fee, and about $120 EMS freight from Japan, so around $1200 delivered with our current shitty dollar. Pfitzner one is $1500+, but it is here.
  4. I think you'll have to order one, very unlikely someone will have one sitting around. I got an OS giken one for my dog box from RHD last year no worries, still in production and is a bit cheaper than the PPG one. About $1000ish ? Did have to slightly enlarge breather fitting hole in it, as for some reason it was about 1mm too small to fit a factory breather fitting.
  5. Must be my turn to Necro a thread. Does anyone know what Nissan part number or other alternative number /part the loom connector for the BM57 fluid level sensor is ? I have a new BCNR33 one ready to go on the 32, but would like to have the exact factory connector and reservoir as per 33 as I like the rectangular reservoir better (and its new) than the 32 round one. I'm pretty handy with Nissan Fast, but this has me stumped and hours of trying to find out on Fast and online is really pissing me off - didn't think it would be this hard as the sensor and connector seems to be on nearly everything from R33, R34, Z33, Z34, Y61, Q60. Surely I should be able to find this online somewhere, because my Nissan dealer is shit and I bet won't be helpful at all. The Nissan sensor it connects to is 46048-64J21 or the alternative NTK sensor is BF0062, both look like this:
  6. No shit everything is stuffed. JDM garage has a complete Pfitzner sequential with clutch for $20k ? Seriously though their damaged 3rd box is $130. I'm running the PAR dog set prepped and so far really good, haven't leaned on it yet so probably doesnt mean jack until then.
  7. Within a day ? Chill out and give them a chance to respond to you after they find the correct info for themselves from the manufacturer. Patrick and Russell at RHD are awesome, and absolutely do not talk shit and will be straight with you giving you the correct information.
  8. Why, you building another box ? Please don't tell me your PAR broke ? If you can't find one you'll be able to get one from JDM garage shipped to you for about $300 - $400.
  9. Price update: Rb26 Lower timing belt steel cover - -$50 R32/R33GTR Upper timing belt cover -$400 Camtech cams as mentioned above -$750 Rb26 BPP 14mm twin entry fuel rail -$240 HKS turbo - $1300 R32 GTR standard coilovers with lowered springs -$400 First page availability updated.
  10. Tried OS giken Japan ? Do an enquiry to RHDjapan or Nengun, they'll confirm for sure.
  11. No, all 2.8 rods are not the same as stock length. There are Tomei, Spool ect. that have 119.5mm conrods for 2.8 strokers with 77.7mm cranks that use standard pin height, so be careful. All we're saying is the HKS ones specifically are 121.5mm standard length, like the Nitto rods for strokers. Most strokers actually will have different length to standard.
  12. Yep, my Nitto 2.8 stroker is the same as Piggaz mentioned with the HKS, 121.5mm standard length rods, so it should be fine as all their rods seem to be 121.5mm.
  13. Definitely not GTR as they are unequal length. Had a look at that diff and you could be onto something. Looks like that new centre could have 30 spline, require equal length half shafts and be exactly what you're looking for.
  14. Alright, that clears things up, still up shit creek. OS giken do not make any 30 spline for S13 -S15, 29 spline only, they make you go back from a 30 to a 29 if you've got an S15 and hence why you got what you got. That's even shittier as you won't be able to use any GTR half shaft or axle. Brings you back around to a 30 spline option like a Cusco, Kaaz or Nismo diff, if you want to use your existing 30 spline 6 X 1 half shafts and axles.
  15. Wait, hang on, what is your original diff housing and centre in it ? Was under the impression you had a GTR housing with an existing 30 tooth spline centre and you had 30 spline 6 X1 half shafts. Are you saying now you don't have a GTR diff ? As already mentioned 30 spline 6 X 1 bolt half shaft is only found in 89 -92 R32 GTR. It is not unknown or random, that's what they are, and are not helical. Again, the R33GTR is the same but 31 spline. No S13 - S15 or Skylines have 6 X 1 half shafts, only GTR. S13 and early S14 are 29 spline with 3 x 2 half shafts. Late S14 and S15 are 30 spline again, with 3 x 2 half shafts. These would fit an R32 GTR centre being 30 spline but no one ever would do that. People retro the GTR 30 spline 6 X 1 half shaft to an S15 or 96+ S14 diff centre so they can use the stronger GTR drive shaft axles. You don't know what original actual diff housing you have do you ? Are you sure you don't have a late S14+ diff that had 30 spline centre, 30 spline R32 GTR 6 X 1 half shafts and you bought an early S14 29 spline OS giken centre ?
  16. R33 GTR series 3 synchro update, but it's not any stronger. Correct answer, next step up over standard GTR box is OS giken or Pfitzner (PPG) 5 speed helical synchro Gearset which uses series 3 synchros anyway. Or R34 Getrag 6 speed.
  17. Because standard gears are sintered metal, are shit and will break. Billet gears or different pump recommended. But if you go bigger flow pump, then you really should be getting a bigger sump. Spirals out of control doesn't it ?
  18. Just pray to the GTR gearbox gods and be prepared if it does break.
  19. Fck that Puma shit. Blew my 2.8 up on it at Red centre Nat's 2018. Pulled engine down and it was so dirty and gritty on the pistons as if I was using 91. Every time pulled one down after BP ultimate, absolutely clean as. I wasn't the only one, about 10 other cars went that weekend too.
  20. Yeah in Darwin has it, not Katherine though, does it ? Darwin and Katherine would be a shit place to tune. Alice is good, if there was someone here that could actually tune, and on a dyno that was accessible.
  21. Katherine doesn't have BP ultimate does it ? Alice only just got it back 6 months ago, had to use Caltex Vortex 98 before that after Puma bought the main BP here.
  22. He's probably right about the 9180 turbo being too big for your aim. I think the EFR camp would probably be saying an 8374 and now the G series Garrett's are out something from that line. Look the GTX turbo will do the job fine though, but now is your opportunity to get on the latest turbo since you haven't bought it yet. Radiator, well it's absolutely bullshit needing a different one unless the car is repeatedly heat soaked in the track. The standard one is outstanding. Changing radiators can really open up a can of worms as most aftermarket ones are shit. The only ones I have had good results from are PWR and Koyo. Regarding the box, they don't break on the launch as 1st and 2nd is actually quite strong. It's 3rd. Rolling power shifts will break it at that power level eventually, I've done quite a few of them and been a long time since I've had a standard box.
