I'm pumped!! Who is willing to start a thread in the NSW events section to stir them up and let them know we're coming to own them???

I checked to see if there was a thread but couldn't find anything, and I'm sure last year there was a SAU VIC vs SAU NSW talk up thread...

I reckon we get Troy to start the thread, after all he belongs there doesn't he???

Be good to meet some of the NSW crew....

 dont worry we know you guys are coming!!

Make sure you start 7 different threads in all of their sections repeating yourself !

Aww LOL

Cant wait to see you guys and catch up going to be great!!

Will be nice to meet a few more new peeps that I havent met before :)

Hoping to be racing with you guys at wakie but if not will come down to say hi :)

After talking to Troy 2 weeks ago, I have been giving some thought to the trip up there. I don't have Monday off, just Wed, Thurs, Fri but am keen to make the most of Tues.

My suggestion, we drive up Tues as originally planned but on Wednesday we take a trip up to Bathurst for the day (looks to be approx 1.5 hours max each way from Wakefield). This is somewhere I have never been but would like to and as ex cosworth owner, it holds particular significance for me as I am sure it does with many skyline owners. Would anyone be interested in that on the Wednesday? >_<

On whereis.com.au if you type in goulburn to bathurst its a 3hr40min trip >_<

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

My Steve Parish atlas and ruler weren't overly acurate it seems! If thats the case, probably an idea to pass on it :laughing-smiley-014:

Hey all,

Because its a hidiously busy time at one of my works at the moment, i may be required back in melbourne for saturday. which is going to mean a long hall drive friday night. Just wondering if there is anyone who might be just coming along for the trip and might be interested in sharing some driving back to melbourne if this has to happen? Im sure some payment in beers can be arranged :P

I haven't applied for leave yet. I probably should go do that hey.

Also - not sure on the status of High Tower and Aaron anymore. I think Aaron is making a decision after this weekend. And High Tower needs to sort his turbo issues first I'm sure.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
