Who told you that?

A complete goose.

And hence, you never take the car back and see someone else!

Recently fit parts installed and had a retune. Much better than before,I think it was due to a crack in the intercooler piping before.

For 21psi with -5s... You are sorta missing 50rwkw still. You can go the usual dyno variance 10/15 here there whatever, but 50 is a bit.

Not if it's running 21psi, you have the airflow for the power.

You can tune around the AFM limit to a point from a WOT point of view, I had 340rwkw out of -9 using the stock MAF (but that's another can of worms not worth opening).

Somethin just does not make sense really.

Have you checked the ID tags to confirm? Always a good place to start :)

If they were -9's then they should be making more than 100 kw at 4000 RPM.

Something is Definately amiss. :/

Just fit VCT, its a piece of piss and worth its weight in gold low and mid torque / power wise.

Got an off the shelf kit ready to go? If so, how much?

Hope they don't ripsss you a new one, hey boiiii.

I would still suggest you learn what VCT is, whatever the engine you end up building.

Trent and I are both talking about VCT or CVVT on the 26 head, there are a few options available, including making it work yourself.

CVVT on my VQ25 is good for 800rpm better response, or the equivalent of running a VQ30. Incorporating it into a 26/30 would perhaps make the ultimate RB.

Yeah I know, it's overall - all quite odd indeed.
