Yep it was more responsive then the stock twins, and held boost all the way to red line.

T4 twin scroll or single? What AR and when we can buy it 💓

Its currently a single scroll T4. I'm making a new prototype for 400awkws with same response. Will be available for public in T3 or T4 rear housings once tested in about two weeks time.

Tested more more Protoype Rb26 T4 Turbo today.  Car made 443awkws E85 at 27psi, reaching 20psi and 200awkws by 4000RPM. Will be looking at Cam shaft upgrade and slight turbine trimming for the next run.

ATR45SS-1 Ball beairng Turbocharger in T3 Vband rear externally gated. In an R33 GTST, built Rb25det engine, factory stroke, with 264 camshaft maintain VCT. Final result was 472rwkws externally gated, power pulling all the way to 8000RPM on E60 fuel with 230rwkws @ 4000RPM. It would easily make 500rwkws+ with upgraded cooler and fuel system.

Following the car above, now with E85, Pull 511rwkws and still plumbed back gate.

RB26 owner's wet dream. On song before 4500rpm and make those kind of numbers.

What size is the exhaust?

3.5 inches to 3. there should be another 20 kws left in it once externally gated with a better cooler.

Result for you. ATR43ss2 ballbearing version compared to Garrett GTX 3076 gen 2. Same 0.82 externally gated housing used on both, and the turbo was the only change to the setup. Forged RB25, Supertech valvesprings, 256 Poncams, topmount steampipe ex.manifold with Turbosmart 38mm external gate, 3.5in intake pipe, 3.5in turbo back exhaust, Apexi PFC. P98 fuel.

Disregard the pink line; that was the GTX running an EBC that overboosted, run aborted. The blue line is the ATR43, no boost controller, just running wastegate pressure. The red and green lines are the GTX, also just running wastegate pressure....crappy ex.manifold resulted in spiking a much higher boost pressure, another story so disregard that aspect of the higher HP when it hits 24psi.

Important part to note is the ATR making more HP through the entire run right up until the boost creep on the GTX. Also to note, the R35 afm in a 3.5in pipe was hitting 5v at the peak of the red run.

Here's the run of just the ATR.

Just under 400rwhp. Note this was also with an inadequate boost controller; now running a Greddy MAP controller allowing for boost to come on stronger earlier without overshooting at higher rpms, so the midrange is now stronger.

Same dyno and tuner for both, just done at different sessions.

Similar to an ATR43SS-2

Another ATR45SS-2 result to share, This time in a T3 1.0 Rear with a Built RB26 running stock cams. Car made a impressive 625rwkws @ 38psi E85 fuel.

New prototype ATR45SS turbocharger. Now sitting at 485Awkws @ 32psi of boost, all in by 4200RPM. New turbo made 40kws more in power while no lose in response. Car's nice and and responsive to drive. Currently sitting at the limitation of the stock engine, considering of doing a forged build soon.

Stock R34 GTR Rb26 with APR head studs
HKS Cam gears 0 inlet, 0 exhaust.
R35 GTR coil packs
Trigger kit
ID 1650cc injectors
Twin 540 Walbro pumps+11m fuel line
Apexi FMIC
Trust 3 inches turbo back exhaust
PS2000
Nismo Front mount cooler
T4 high mount exhaust manifold
HyperGear 50mm External gate
HyperGear ATR45SS Prototype T4 Vband rear
3 inches front pipe with cutout
Final result so far 485awkw / 650awhp @ 32psi E85 fuel. All in by 4200RPM.

Great work Tao, looks like Trent ramp in the boost gently to limit torque so the stock motor wouldn't explode. Judging by the graphs you could get more boost in earlier but most likely break the motor LOL

That comp cover also looks great, much nicer than premium products with poor casting and material missing.

Further development on the T4 printed turbo on Rb26. This prototype made a pretty big differences, peek 377awkws while making 20psi by 3500RPM and 220rwkws @ 4000RPM. Will doing few more things and hopefully seeing 420awkws+ without loosing response.

Is that turbo already available to buy?

Some footage from last Winton practice from Mr Oversteering, Still running one of our high flowed OP6 Turbocharger making a responsive 310rwkws.

    • Hi guys . Can someone help me  I bought an Android screen for my Nissan fuga but it won't turn on
    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
