then the usual yellow 33 and white 34 ICR34M (??????) in eastwood

Spotted me probably on my way home from work. Hakan fixed up the exhaust on my car a few months back. What car were you in?

Last night, saw a silver r34 Gtt at wetherill park, horsley drive servo filling up. Nice car mate, I was in the black r33 gtst

No ones seen my car yet haha, black on black r33 gtst no plate SLO-33R ? :(

Mick. Is it your car I spotted a few weeks back on Quakers Hill Parkway not far from the end near Knox?

White R34 GT with green P-plates in Quakers Hill around 3pm today (Friday) heading from Sunnyholt Road towards Hambledon Drive, I was next to you in my green Stagea.

Goldzilla this sounds just like me :)

Most days I jump onto Quakers Hill Parkway from Sunnyholt road and follow it right through. I'm sorry I didn't see you. Did you turn off soon after?

All good. :D

I turned off onto Hambledon Road, then stopped at a friend's on Bali Drive just past the school.

i was in the black gtt which drove next to /behind you for a bit - that was around 6-7pm friday night if i recall correctly? or saturday night...i think it was friday ahah.

quiet weekend didn't see many skyline

Just wondering if the guy who bought my old R33 GTST a couple years ago is on here. Asian Fellow, think he was from around the Liverpool region.

This is what the car looked like when I had it (wheels and front bar are a bit of a give away).

Just want to see how the old girl is going, if she's been reliable, what mods it has now etc...

Cheers

    • It's almost certainly a reluctor generating an "AC" waveform. No, ECUs don't generally read those - they're usually set up for PWM square wave 0-5v stuff.
    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
