Mines, you are one of the most ignorant people I have ever met.

You'd think that crashing a GT-R would teach you a lesson (not to speed, to not think you're invincible), but it seems it hasn't. Just thinking you can drive better than "...better then all you 20 year olds..." is just the beginning.

Seriously, go buy yourself a matchbox car-- just please don't crash that either.

to tell you the truth i can probably drive a car better then all you 20 year olds in SAU.  not the old dudes in here no way.

all i have to say i was unlucky. now shut your frigin mouths and stop flooding SAU with bullcrap thats already been said by people 90times.

Cheers

You have got to be kidding. Now YOU'RE giving attitude.

Take your attitude and go to MCCR.

I think I speak for the collective - we don't want you here.

Give the guy a break dudes, are you people perfect? i doubt it...even professional drivers make mistakes. Lets leave it at that people, its got nothing to do with you guys what he did to his own GT-R. Everyone has accidents.

mines - good to hear u are ok and well enuf to learn a lesson from the acco...

what is ur parents phone no.? - i am wanna call them and try and talk them into buying u a kombi or a hq holden (something that is built like a brick sh!tter)....

please take the advice of others on here....

i am so happy i have worked hard to appreciate what i have got (only a gtst some might say) - but it means a lot to me.....

i own a gts-t and i pay for over 60% of it, its not a gtr and it isnt super fast;

im not perfect, i never said i was but i know that i can't controll the car yet (only 16 turn 17 in feb) so i don't go around concers at 70 or redling in 2nd gear.. cuz i know i can't controll it.

u got 2 have know in yourself that u couldnt controll your gtr fully yet, so why try something which will 99.9% end u badly if u cant fully controll your car yet?

Give the guy a break dudes, are you people perfect? i doubt it...even professional drivers make mistakes. Lets leave it at that people, its got nothing to do with you guys what he did to his own GT-R. Everyone has accidents.

No not everyone is perfect. He is nothing of a professional.

But, all this slagging aside, there are reasons why people are posting here - for the good and protection of the general public, and, to protect the body of a brain so stupid it cannot seem to protect itself - MINES_DATSUN.

Lets look at his track record - two high power cars, two write-offs in two years of legal driving.

Lets not bullshit here - the boy cannot drive. That is expected, he is young and inexperienced. If he wants to be old (at all) and experienced, he'd better change his attitude quick smart.

All young males over estimate their driving ability. it is how God created us. Same way chicks always think they are better than they are (sorry a tangent, trying to get some lightheartedness in here). I overestimated my ability - probably still do. But I haven't written off any cars or had any accidents worth more than $1K.

So, what i am trying to say is, MINES_DATSUN, really take stock of your life - if you want to die, do it quietly and don't take anyone with you. I would never wish injury on anyone, please think carefully before getting behind the wheel of any car again any time soon.

Imagine you killed another human being.

Thanks for reading my 2c

    • A few suggestions: Do you have the option of retarding your exhaust cam gear to bring the power band over to the left? VCT would be turned off after you make peak torque, you see the power/torque will decay faster with it left on all the way to the limiter Once VCT is turned off, you'll find the motor will take a bit more timing being ramped in Send its mum, more boost! Of course, depends on your exhaust pressure.
    • Tow a boat... people won't know wtf is going on 🤣
    • I was back on the dyno again yesterday after completely revamping my methanol injection system. I was making 440kw at 19psi. Great, this is more then I was making last summer with my old meth system at that pressure, and I figured it would be smooth sailing up to 30+psi. We continued increasing from there and by 25psi, I had only hit 455kw. Dyno sadly lost utility power at this point and I left. We seemed to be on course to hit the same power wall as last summer (477kw@27psi). This is a built RB25 S1 stroked to a 2.8. Built and ported head with Kelford 272/262 cams. Precision 6466 Turbo. Tuner last year believed the power wall is a mix of RPM limitations (Hydro lifters/Limit set at 7600RPM) and fueling. With my new meth system, we're seeing zero knock now but it still won't go up.  What else can I do at this point? Here's my train of thought.  - It's clear from the dyno graph that I would easily make power to 8500+RPM but I'm limited to 7600RPM. I could risk increasing my limiter, but hydro lifters have me worried. What are my options here besides going NEO head or solid lifter conversion? I'm rocking a 1.05AR turbine on my 6466. Would dropping down to a .84 help shift that power down in anyway? - We're only seeing roughly a 30kw difference at the top end with VCT on or off. Is this normal? I want to confirm VCT is working properly. - Should I look into other cam options?  - Should I just keep increasing boost and see if she wakes up later on? I would expect to hit 600rwkw around 35psi with my 6466.
    • First thought is to use a ram mount (to hold the ipad) + windscreen suction mount. The arms on the ram mount can be as long as you like, should be able to position the ipad pretty well with that setup.
