I do love that place. most of the stuff is chinese cheapy....but hey that's what brings it into my price range.

I recently picked up drill press, grinder, sandblaster and parts washer there.

And this is why I need to move my car to your house... :P

Here's another bit of kit I picked up at Hare & Forbes (Machineryhouse).

pic of sandblaster?, i've been looking for one for 2 years now but no one up here stocks free standing sandblasters... they all stock the little box ones. :/

I picked up their smaller freestanding one...still looks big enough for the majority of car parts, anything larger like wheels or heads etc can be done by a specialist.

The challenge with big blasting cabinets is that you need a hge/expensive compressor to supply enough air

there are a bunch of generic (and expensive kits), but this is a perfect fit.

Recently acquired one of those cordless Renovator power tool dealies.

Awesome. Used it to cut a Perspex shield for my Pod filter. 5mm Perspex with curves and straights and this thing loved it.

Wonder what else I can attack with it? :)

I find it absolutely amazing at what my son Mark has in Snap Ons - top shelf only shown.

Other rare bits on other shelves - and he took care of his tools - not 'tired' - never thrown around.

Used to be a BMW, Subaru, VW mechanic.

    • To be fair this is the wife’s car. However, I have been accused of owning more cars than I have pairs of undies. Luckily I change my undies more frequently than the cars.
    • Cheers Lads Looking at changing up a few things maybe go 2.8lt, bigger injectors with more a modern Turbo. Possibly transbrake and convert to E85 with Haltech ECU. Any thoughts on those Mods changes or better ideas? Want to try keep the car Street/Strip While also being weekend drivable still.

One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general. When attending one of Skylines Australia NSW events please try to: • Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly. • Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should. • Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAUNSW and thus, treat others accordingly. • Any misbehaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. Thanks guys and hope to see you there!
    • We're a bunch of suspicious skeptics here. So when we see a new user describing themselves as a "guy" but showing "Female" in the bio, we immediately suspect "bot" and "spam". If you are legit, then welcome. If you are a spambot, then die in an AI fire. No offence (unless you're a bot). What car did your dad drive when he met your mum? (Call this a car forum Turing test, if you like). What car did your mum drive when you started school? What car did your date drive to your first formal/prom/whatever. What do the majority of the license plates in your local area have on them (the state motto, the county motto, whatever)?
