Its going to be hard to find a direct stock replacement.

You are better off picking up some larger denso/sard injectors off ebay (which are low imp) and buy a nistune board for his ecu.

I picked up some Sard 550cc GTR injectors for like $500. Throw in another $200 for the nistune board. $700 all up and opened the door for future tuning :)

His got a power fc at the moment but not yet installed. I told him to fit some ID1000/Bosch injectors as he will be looking for big power down the track.

Money is the issue at the moment, but I say do it once do it right.

Sell the PowerFC and use it to pay for injectors + nistune.

You guys should chat, his name is Justin from the beach cruise and AGM if you remember.

How come you went the Sard's and not the ID/Bosch injectors as they are only about $100 per injector?

ah yeah i remember. With the clean r32 GTR.

SARD's were the cheapest on ebay at the time, reputable brand and it was a direct replacement for GTR. (i had gtr stock injectors wired in which failed, so easier to replace with sard gtr's)

It's also good to replace the injector plugs as they will no doubt be coroded/rusted. Mine were green, no idea how any voltage went through it...

I failed E*P*A because the inspector told me my injectors should be red and not purple, so whatever he gets make sure to paint them to stock colour. However, he wont pass EPA with a powerfc whereas with a nistune and tuned to pass emissions will ;)

Used to dominate zombie horde! 200-3 and shit...

Mad fun playing the zombies, humans didn't stand a chance against zombie me, people actually stopped playing on the server :D

I'll pass it on to him

I was going to get 550's in and hop around with that for a while untill I get the power fc in and tuned. Now im just thinking I'll get the 750's slap em in got new pod filters waiting to go in, get a adjustable FPR and I'll put my power fc in and change oils untill I can get it booked in for a tune and most likely strap it to the back or a trailer and tow it down.i dears??

Me and a coworker just smashed Nandos $21 full chicken, seriously large chips and 1.5L coke meal for 7th consecutive day.

I think I'm gonna start sweating hot & bbq sauce.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
