I have had 3 sets of fake rims, (drifteks, varrstoen's and RG tek's) I have put them through their paces and they have not been any different to the genuine ones except for the wank you hear on forums

all those shots you see of f**ked rims are from accidents that would have destroyed real rims anyway.

end of the day, I have bought real rims and fake, and these days i'd rather put my money towards other shit
