out at morwell today and had no idea the smoke was so bad from the coal fire going on. you can see the ash in the air, it's building up on the cars. I don't know how the EPA deems it ok to be outside for extended periods.

epa dont know about it.

too busy sending out letters to car drivers.

Celsior or cressida with 1UZ is where its at for toyotas. JZ's too pricey.

you know big engine toyotas Alvin, what you think?

as mentioned, they're smooth and all, but they lack everything else, power, torque, and are put in cars too heavy for them.

needs turbro in the boot. coolant/radiator set up in the 1uz snorer is stupid, things are overly complicated.

just go 1J.

They issued advice to residents to consider evacuating today apparently due to the air quality (or lack thereof) as they can't guarantee how much longer it'll be like that.

sooo... 892kms on the hilux and it decides to run out of fuel.

stoopid gauge design... ill take a pic later. The needle and lines are misleading. its a terrible dash in general. instead of lines representing 60km/h, 80, 100 etc, it has a solid line all the way round then gaps missing on the 60, 80, 100 marks. actually makes it difficult to gauge if youre under or over speed limit. and of course their lever design reads 500kms in first half of tank and 400 on the second half. f**king toyotas.

How many kw can a R33 GT-R fuel pump support in my gts-t? Ceebs going 040...

I've seen them pump out enough fuel to support 450rwkw in a GTR. I've also seen them run out of puff at 330rwkw. Luck of the draw really but will be more than you need.

How much voltage they're receiving is a huge factor in the flow rate (and I'm sure km's also could be a factor)... Wire it up using a relay to get full voltage instead of 15yo thin wiring designed for a smaller pump and you'll be laughing.

      Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.

      Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well

Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
