simone. mick says you has universal clutch tool!?!?!?

can i has use of for 10 mins?!

You may. I'll be home in Vermont South after 6pm, but I'm going out at 7:20 if you need it tonight. I can leave it in the letterbox if you want.

oh hai

new car is berry nice

hamish it has 2.3Lkit, 270deg cams, 1k injectors, clutch, flywheel, vipec and usual supporting mods with an evo 9 turbo on it

its tuned for 19psi and i havent driven it on 19psi yet, only 8psi and it flies / pulls awesome in every gear - made 240kw last dyno run

ah was just surprised the setting is even that low, as stock they run much higher?

then again you have a stroker... fun times.

mods collecting dust in my room and garage, need to strap them on to unleash the 2L milk carton fury

Anyone installed one of the HKS SSQ Blow off valves? Looking at purchasing this:

Wondering if it's better than the others on the market?

Ssq is fnf spec

yeah ive got no idea how it runs less boost than stock

my understand, at least from skyrine was you could never run less boost than the actuator spring

no idea how this is working

but its got an eboost 2 switchable between 8psi, 13psi and then 19psi

but stock i think is 19psi

Probably actuator is adjustable/weaker spring?

EJ20s will run less boost than actuator pressure if they're in Limp mode, I don't understand how it happens even without running the factory boost solenoid but it won't let it past 4 psi. I guess it must yank shitloads of timing to keep it down?

no idea

ill have to do some reading on the evo 9 turbo and the controller setup

my understanding was from the skyline setup

where you must run the minimum spring level, you can run higher, but not lower

you can adjust from plumb back daily to fully FnF style or in between all with a switch in the cabin!!!!!

    • Why are you so adamant on going M12? Why not follow Brad (GTSBoy) suggestion. You're talking moving from a 1/8" size, to a 1/2" effectively. 4 times bigger. Why skip the commonly available sizes in between? The bigger you go, the more likely you are to strip the threads out at a later date, as guaranteed, someone will put a huge spanner on the M12 and really tighten it up, and you're only in thin wall, so not a lot of threads to engage!
    • Hi. Yeah thanks. Car is already at tuners and it staying there to resolve "many" issues they do not like. So it is in a good hands. Getting a good tune on that Nistune ECU too so the car would be good. Just needs a little tune up and love.
    • Probably gonna remove manifold and turbo. I’m not sure if I can get M12 x 1.5 air tight. Could use high temp Loctite 246 or something similar, but I don’t know. Maybe it’s just best to remove everything again and weld an 1/8NPT on there instead.
    • Yeah, saw the ratios, not impressed. Would like the punch I have in the first gears now. With those ratios it won't be the same.  Also want the h pattern gearing, or at least a quiet gear set that don't need to come apart for service each year. Looks like the only "reasonable" way Is a 8hp70 transmission, but where is the fun in that🤷‍♂️
