we do this on SAU events as well, once a few post it up shows others that no you don;t need a out and out race car or 100% perfect show car, any-one can attend.

bumps up interest as well.

think of it as a marketing thing.

Shows that people are seeking approval for what they think is a widely admired piece of shit

It's a given all cars are welcome at an event hosted by guys who started off modifying average cars, but attempting to glamorize polished or common turds for approval is a wank

Also it brings along "Professional Car Photographers" (they're professional because they have a facebook page and a DSLR) who will see that their might be some decent cars to take pics of... Who then post up pics of SAU events on facebook, brings in friend tags and exposure for the club.

So I need a Facebook page & I'm classed as a professional car photographer....?? how did I not know this earlier?! [emoji13][emoji6]

Don't you drive a pulsar?

Anyone would think you drive a 34GTR

lol . People want to see unique cars or people who are enthusiastic about cars or their car.

Even at pulsar meets, I can't stand those who turn up with a jdm sticker and weathershields saying it's just a P player car until they get a GTR.

Ever been to a HWY meet this year? I'm not saying turn all common cars down, but people don't go to car meets to look at 10 of the same stock car in 4 different colours

I'm on IPVanish, although they're not terribly popular as they will give away your details if you upload a torrent.

Thoughts Martin? My mate found that after he asked me about VPN's etc and I sent him your reccomendation

i went with them after reading the previous years version of this article published by one of the larger torrent services:

https://torrentfreak.com/which-vpn-services-take-your-anonymity-seriously-2014-edition-140315/

the most important one is they don't keep logs.

so should be no way to track you.

that said I am not suggesting any-one do what I am just as I am doing it, def do your research, there a new service every 2 months and need to make a call as to what you trust.

Could just buy the movie for $10

agree and I got the service to watch my foxtel Go when Overseas.

I was stuck in Germany when bathurst was on and was not missing that.

also good when in countries where they block news sites that are not whitelisted by the local government.

Also good to order stuff from USA when they block counties...looking at you GoPro

they could hear you and your mates coming from miles away...

Kill a person for killing an animal. Logic.

yeah i know. amazing animals though, once saw one in the distance, grabbed the rifle, scoped it up, gone...

id seriously go shooting with you but im not sure if youll shoot me in the knee and leave me there....

    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
